Good morning,

My middle son that lives a long way from has been unwell for about a week - he says he is very, very tired, a bit of nausea, sore neck and headachey.

What do I need to know about J being unwell

This looks to me like a lot of psychological pressure and he needs to take a break.

He works, studies and lives in a somewhat conflicted housemate environment - not so much his conflict - but 2 sisters who bitch at each other. He does suffer from anxiety and depression quite a bit.

I think the yi is suggesting in getting to the bottom of the matter whatever that maybe.
Enviroment, or it might mean seeing a doctor but basicaly get to the bottom of it so it can be treated.
Line 4 may be saying once you rule out some of these issues then you will be successful in knowing what advice to give.

When I introduced the yi to my mum she asked a question about me and the yi basicaly told her to mind her business and worry about herself and I will be fine. Typical questiion being a mother. She for one found the answer quite astonishing and 2 was a little amused because in one foul swoop the yi had given her advice when she was asking about her son. It was quite funny at the time

All i am saying that is the yi i think is throwing this back at you. You obvisouly feel helpless as mothers do so without giving him the third degree you may want to help him get to the root of the cause or maybe suggest a doctor, but again the discussion could be on what he thinks maybe coausing it , if its stress it might time to get out etc etc

Please dont take this word for word as you might know how to approach but in summary how can he get better until you know what the cause is

Sorry Steve, none of this makes sense to me - we are very close despite him being so far away and talk on the phone every week if not more and the phone calls are of 'substantial' conversation.
We are both sad we live so far away from each other but respect that we have our own journey to follow but thks for your intepretation anyway. x

How is your son doing? If the condition was a sudden onset, he has some of the symptoms of a listeria infection.

Thks Tom and M - Yes need to not feel like I have to fix it for him although I am always there to help him over the phone.

Yes also I think Tom it was some sort of infection like that but he appears a lot better now.
