sorry, need help on another interpretation for hexagram 57

I asked a general question

"What do I need to know about my romantic relationship with X for this year 2009?"
And the answer I got was hexagram 57 changing lines of 1,2,5,6 to relating hexagram 36

Based on my little knowledge about interpretation, it seems 57 with line 1,2 sound good. I'm not sure how to read line 5 though
And line 6 just altogether sounds so bad. Can someone help me with this line? Is the line saying that something I do will destroy the relationship I have, and however I think I am right, it wasn't a right thing to do? "However firm and correct he may (try to) be, there will be evil."
Should I be worried and start panicking? Hehe, this is probably why I need help on the reading, because I think sometimes I'm biased, and since I've been going through such a hard period in life right now, I see everything as negative, and get really scared at even the slightest mention of "evil".

Is this the same relationship that you got the 23.2.6 reading about? That was not a very happy reading...and since you still intend to contnue with him...I'd say this reading is not too happy either.

when there are many changing lines, I personally like to look more closely at the related hex and the general feeling of the first. 57 is gentle penetration, ie slowly coming to understand someone/something, perhaps. 36 is about something hidden, possibly not so good for a relationship. It can also refer to being invalidated, imprisoned.

And the last line of 57 is not really pretty. Taking something so far as to lose what is valuable to you.

I do not think it says that something you do will destroy the relationship, but that maybe continuing to pursue it will result in your being hurt by it. By continuing , you may be penetrating into some darkness that you are not going to like. There is still time to change your mind though. (and I am assuming this reading is about the person you talked about in your first post.)

Line 57.1 says that your passive behaviour is causing you to doubt yourself, so you need to be absolutely decisive in your actions towards him and stop being his puppet. You either tell him that he is being an ass**** to his face or you back off him so he can't play anymore mind games with you.

Line 57.2 says that you have to get to the root of your problem with this guy, find out why he is being a turd.

Line 57.5 says you need to seriously think about your situation, because if he doesn't change then you make an exit.

Line 57.6 says after you have tried to find out what is problem is and no resolution has been found, then stop trying and leave him.

Hex 36 says to stay with him is going to only going to hurt you further, so stop being messed about with by him.

This is all advice telling you what you should do because if you let him carry on then you are going to get even more hurt.
