Sorting out a puzzle ...

Hello all,

I recently did a reading in regard to the unraveling of a relationship. In my initial reading, I asked the iChing about the situation and received Hex 21.5.6<17.

A few weeks have passed and so last night I asked what am I not seeing? I received Hex 25.6<17. Hex 17 has been a big influencer throughout this relationship as when it started I asked what was the relationship potential for me and the outcome was 17, but this all deals with me. So, what am I not seeing?

Of 21.5.6 -- Biting through;' getting to the heart of an issue. Conflicting lines -- 5 suggests "finding gold" as a reward for your effort. 6 is humiliation from letting your ego rule. Is there/has there been a problem of balancing here -- a search for "gold" too easily turning into a struggle for boundaries?

Nine at the top means:
Innocent action brings misfortune.
Nothing furthers.

When, in a given situation, the time s not ripe for further progress, the best thing to do is to wait quietly, without ulterior designs. If one acts thoughtlessly and tries to push ahead in opposition to fate, success will not be achieved.

It sounds like there's nothing you can do but roll with the changes. Hex 17 emphasizes this. Perhaps what you are not seeing is that you have no power to directly change what is and will be. Only in developing yourself will you be able to influence another.

Yes, thank you/ That does make sense. I dont think I'm trying to change what's happened although lots of conversations are happening about it around me. I do need to work on myself and have told a third party that I just want away from the situation. I feel like by talking about it I keep the story alive. bout thw

I asked the iChing three things:

1. How I should proceed and received Hex 16, unchanging.
2. How I am being observed and received Hex 2, unchanging.
3. What do I need to know about the situation: 43.1.3.4<29

Thanks, I think the third question confuses me the most.
