My daughter in law is just about to have my 2nd grandchild any day now. There's a spot on the inside of her thigh and she gets funny itches. I wonder if it's hormonal.

What is the spot on her skin

Hex 22.1.3>23

Sounds superficial in some way.

what do we need to know about the spot

Hex 22.3>27

well Line 3 - I'm just not sure!

I heard people often get caught out by not noticing melanomas on backs of legs and so on. That is worst case scenario but if unsure it is essential to get a dr to look at it. I say 'caught out' because when they go un noticed the cancer has chance to spread. the earlier they are spotted the better.

I've been told in general if a mole or spot etc is round and the same colour all over it's generally okay. The things to watch for are when they become irregular in shape, get bigger for no reason and have different colours in them.

I expect her spot is nothing like this and is some innocent blemish or insect bite but there is no way I would go by Yi's answers alone here. If it looks weird and doesn't go away see a dr.

It's a beauty mark! Anyway, I agree with Trojina that if it looks weird and doesn't go away, see a dermatologist.

'fading' is just a really apt term for 22.1.3>23.

''It faded away" is what I have seen that particular cast as more than once. Here for a mark on the skin it just seems, now you say it, as perfect. A mark (22) that fades/erodes(23). I've seen the cast in other situations where something appeared to promise much but faded away in the end. Here of course it is very good news that it faded.
