just seen my son off who has just finished a run in the theatre.
familial love seen to I must get back to my own business

what if i go back to country today - response 29 unchanging

what if i try to stay in town and do the plan - 59.2 > 20

LINE 2 - dispersing, flee to your supports...

I am confused - i may do production work out of town but all
the contacts are here

These types of readings always make me wonder if the Yi JIng may sometimes be reflecting our own psychological/physiological states?

Or even pulling our leg?

Going back to country: all is peril in the double abyss?

and yet staying in London,: you ought to hurry to your contrivance, as Legge says? Maybe you should reframe it as, "what will happen if I stay in London?" or "Is it best to stay here where my contacts are?"

Sure thanks Foxx - half of the benefit of the Yi is
taking time to formulate a good question -

I think it is Bruce I am conscious of - as long as we
avoid crazy crowds he is ok

He is currently in a large cool room on a big white
sofa splayed and dozing to classical music after a big lot of fuss off
my son.

Will try the Q's:bows:

what will happen if i drive backto quiet countryside like i feel
like doing 29 > 52
Odd, that 29 has now come up 3x? The Abyss, Repeating....

well, lines 4.5 are not so bad. A flask of wine, an earthen platter, handed simply through the window, to transpose. line 5: Not overflowing, order will be brought about. 6 is about being hedged in, but do you feel that way about staying? 64: Not yet across of before completion.

I get the feeling you must know best the details inherent in staying, going, because I find it hard to apply these with any authority here...

26 is read elsewhere as "Big Accumulation" (great power or great harvest) and it says not eating at home is auspicious. This would seem to indicate that it might be a good thing to stay on in London a bit...

What were the changing lines on the last 29? (>52)

Did not see that post about missing your son; we must have posted at the same time. Yes, Brucie is a sort of furry second son...Although it is tough to miss your son, I suppose GF and her family must also feel he is a part of their own clan now as well.

I always take 39 (Obstruction: also, Difficulties, Limping, and one author refers to it as Cold Feet:eek: ) to be positive:

Lines 2 and 5 more so, as one is encountering obstructions , but is without blame. Acting selflessly. And 5, we find friends coming to help in the midst of these.

2 is just hanging there, receptive and vast....perhaps London itself?

Thanks I did this casting in an agitated state - me and
B were limping and there was a big summer fayre yesterday

However - many friends old and new are glad to see me here
line 5 friends come to help - it makes sense

I truly have so much more in common with London folk - its
a most friendly place or at least this bit is - it feels like home
as my son lived in our place here and everyone knows us here.
(they do in the country but all retired - this is a life youth energy
zone

Then I think that it is true, that 2 is London, it is there for you, receptive. I think to stay seems a good thing....in light of the reading, and the above postings. :)
