Stay or Go

When I asked what is likely,if I try and stay and work things out here.
We are having a marital crisis.
I get hexagram 44 lines 5 and 6.
I think this means it will be okay but there might be unexpected suprises, and you won`t be too happy?

If I decide to go I get 48 unmoving.

Any ideas

Happy New Year to you, I am sorry your marriage is in a crisis. If I may ask, what is it that you want the most? Or think in your heart would be the best thing? I ask because I think sometimes when we do our castings, we sort of send out our feelings into the universe and our answers can reflect that. I try to clear my mind and heart, and even meditate at times before casting, hoping it gives a clear answer. However, since this is your question and answer, this is what I came up with. Understand I am also still learning myself, so I go to many sites and past threads to help with readings.

44 is temporary and 32 is lasting.
Line 5 may be saying an opportunity will fall on you and will be beneficial.
Line 6 may be saying a break needs to be done carefully. Someone else here said "slip out the back door" it was also said "the relationship can easily be broken"

But I think depending on circumstances and what you are willing to work with I think this can go either way, if you stay and work things out, getting 44 to 32, what does it say to you? Maybe a temporary break leads to a lasting relationship or maybe a temporary break leads to a lasting break. Yet you asked if "you stay and work things out" I'm not sure how this would read in your situation.

Where is the well? The well never changes but people can go and come back to the well.
the well is a source of nourishment. But if the well is broken or the rope is too short you can get the water of the well to nourish yourself. Can you mend the cracks in the well? Can you build a bridge or dig the well a little deeper? But it also speaks of it taking two people to be willing to work on the well together. What is he willing to do? Again I don't know how to relate this answer to your question. If I decide to go?
Could be saying if you can work on this marriage with each other stay, as it will be nourishing or it could be saying if you go you will find nourishment. I hope someone else comes along with more wisdom. But no matter who comes along, the ultimate decision is still yours and I like to follow my heart. I hope you have a prosperous new year. :bows:

Hex 48 unchanging implies that you would need the help of other people in order to leave successfully. That might be because your marriage is of the 44 type. You two are very much bound together.

I interpret your moving lines as saying that you could together work on something worthwhile and have a lot of sweetness in your lives, or you could lower your horns and always be fighting with and rebuffing each other. You could take either path or both paths alternatively. There are tempestuous relationships that partake of these extremes.

I think, broadly agreeing with what others have said you will be staying with the marriage. I think 44>32 describes very well a marital crisis....but thats all it is, a crisis within the marriage not the end of the marriage IMO.

44 often signifies some sudden intrusion into our usual way of operating. For you this is happening against a fairly steady reliable constant backdrop of hex 32....signifying durability, constancy...and er of course marriage.

44 looks almost like a classic intrusion of an affair on a marriage...some kind of intrusion anyway.

I thin you may be able to head it off, brush it off (44.6) Not sure about the 44.5...perhaps what happened was a blessing in disguise.

I could be way off not knowing the facts, I don't know who did what to who or how forgiveable it is.....but hex 48 unchanging really does question whats available here. Is there something good available in the marriage you just cannot access....This answer was for if you go,,,but I'm not sure what resources you really have if you go

I wonder if fundamentally you have a sound marriage (hex 32) somethings thrown it off track (44) but it can get back on track with a bit of a shove ? I don't much care for 48 unchanging as an option here

Wow, I ´d just like to say thanks again, your readings don`t sound as bad as I thought.
I hope to be half as good as you Trojan, Ginnie and Blue angel one day at readings
We are very bound together, we live in another country.
Although I am starting to have small successes in my work I could`nt just go off.
I can`t afford to.
I have children, who are not tiny, but still need parents, so running off back home is not really possible.
