I am having to sell my flat and the guy who has long been
interested in buying it comes tomorrow morning.

I have sabotaged a bit as he could have come last week -
i am hedging but my son and friends are fed up of me
struggling to meet the payments on it - but more fed up
of seeing me stressed by having to have lodgers with whom
i have had a very unpleasant history. The idea is one place
all to myself will some money in the bank - but this outside
my beloved creative London. This is the home i lived my whole
life to get and its painful letting go. I fear being a spinster in
the provinces.

So I asked what will happen if i leave tonight and dont see the
guy tomorrow (who is coming with estate agent 11 am)

3.4>17

what will happen if i stay and see the viewing goes smoothly
and leave afterwards

55.1.3.4>2

The Yi certainly seems to be saying staying is better - however
i asked this same question earlier today and got something like
36 for hanging around.

i shall miss london terribly and cant bear it - so i have set up
instructions can leave keys but if i dont stay and oversee then
something might go wrong and i may lose the sale?

The estate agent is your representative and is to deal with the prospect for you, yes? How could your being there help the viewing? Considering the psychology of the situation, I think it best if you were not there. You have already 'sabotaged a bit' last week. Couldn't the keys be left with the agent early tomorrow morning? Comparing translations, Wilhelm's appears inadequate. Legge has: "The fourth SIX, divided, shows (its subject as a lady), the horses of whose chariot appear in retreat. She seeks, however, (the help of) him who seeks her to be his wife. Advance will be fortunate; all will turn out advantageously." I see the horses as your finances and the agent as your helper.

Hello, I can relate to your situation since we sold our house while ago and things did not turn out as god as I expected then for me....but perhaps a new beguining is what you need.
Wanted to say that regardless of the reading you should decide firmly to sell or not because 55 speaks to me as being overwhelmed with this situation. If we understand that your agent is your helper indeed as said in 1st line and in 4th, he will be of good use to you.
Or marry him and kill 2 flies with one stroke?:flirt:
I am sure pocossin will get back to you on this:p

Thank you Pocossin and Dragona - I loved that interpretation Pocossin
- and come to think of it they can do the work for me as thats what they
are paid to do. I am not a well bunny.

I did leave and felt better for it - i am back in the provinces and I wonder
if I can ask you guys to help me with this one.

I was involved in a scandal in this place 1O years ago and again 5 years ago
the situation flared up again, This is a prime reason for my move away.

I never wanted the conflicy and I asked the Yi what was that all about and got
6 unchanging which pretty much described that the antagonism went to the
bitter end, So I thought thats true.

I asked about how to conduct myself coming back to live here and got
3>5 one of the lines in the first hexagram says back in 10yrs which would
be right. Maybe I will be able to settle without controversy from my old
enemies. (believe me I have never had someone take such a hostile stance
to me - it was a shock as I was a lone parent with a 9yr old boy and most
people loved me - i still cant understand the malice)

Finally I asked the Yi what is my best stance to tske given all this historical
saga and got
30.3.4.6>24
any thoughts on this last casting - I do appreciate you guys taking the time,
(this is one thing I miss about london being one of many as opposed to the
'guess who's back in town' gossip of small towns.

I'm sure its all in my head - so long ago now but it still lingers:duh::bows:

This is what I get from the lines, not really knowing much about the problem (other that we had really violent and mean people for neighbours in the place we lived before):

You would like to clear the situation once and for all instead of being caught in the old net of resentments or bad connections, or whatever the case was - hex 30 being also explaned as a hex of the battle, you may certainly feel as entering an possibly hostile enviroment.
Line 3 may be describing how you left the situation and still feel bad about it -but may also telling you that you lament over something that is no more. You can make your life wherever you are, how you go about things is your own choice.
Line 4 may signify that as you are starting a new cycle in the place you feel you should not be, you will feel aquard and should not project your old fears out, rather stay coutious of not being dragged into new conflicts.Try the lighter approach. As a novelty you may be talked over but it will soon pass.
Line 6 suggests that it is not a bad thing, your return, because things will be cleared out and situation will be delt with in the end where you may even get to tell off those who harmed you - others will quiet down and follow.

Again, this is only my interpretation of the lines, hope you get something positive out of it. You return to the old place and to your self-asteem. Not a bad place to go. :bows:

The hexagram The Clinging suggests that you should hold your cards close to your chest. (Look at those eyes peering at you in hexagram 30!) If there's nothing to gossip about, a brief flurry of gossip will pass quickly. Be a lady of mystery to their prying eyes. You should be in control of information about yourself. Let them wonder about what you are doing back. If they want to know what your are doing back, say that you wanted a change or that you thought they missed having you here, or in line with the Judgment, that you missed seeing the cows :) Evade by generalities. The lines suggest that there will be some old friends who will be glad to have you back (line 3), that your old reputation will be thrown away (line 4), and that they will beat the drum for you (line 6). And hexagram 24 confirms your return.

As a practical matter, protect your privacy by not using the name you have at Clarity elsewhere. If ever this name is compromised, prying gossips will use it to gather information about you from the Internet.
