A fellow kombi owner has had his kombi stolen overnight. There was a 'racket' going on sometime ago where a lot of kombi were getting stolen and shipped overseas.

Are they at it again? My question is - Show me the way to find Micks kombi

It does not seem to be showing the way to find the car, only that your helping your friend is favorable.

Well, my first impression is it shows a pushy and ambitious person having taken then given the Kombi. But admittedly I only think that because you told us that someone has been doing that.

Line 4 does speaks of a vehicles axle. Maybe your mates Kombi has an indentifiable axle that will help you find it.

But 15 is about things evening out, like you lose 20 bucks one day but then someone gives you a sweater for free etc. you lose a Kombi, next day you win the lottery... Well if only. But given 34 it would seem to level out the loss of a Kombi something equally great would have t o be gained.

I do have a job, yes, currently flirting with a younger man, blush, and got my drivers license, drove to Byron straight after... made it there in two days from Adelaide. I was pretty pleased with myself for that effort. Maybe next road trip I should visit you! You doing well? xxx

The kombi has been located but not actually been sorted yet - it will be sorted by who gets their first the police or the owners and a few mates :eek:

I love this thread but now can't help but think of you in a Superwoman costume.....I mean you seem to be sorting all your neighbours problems out. You had a thread on a neightbours plumbing, a thread on a neighbours stiff nuts :)mischief:) and bolts and this.

Do these people know how lucky they are to have you on the case if theres a problem in the neighbourhood !?

Had the kombi been repossessed?

Oh no pocossin, not at all - the owners, through a monumental 5,000 shares of the incident on facebook. located the kombi but by the time they got there the kombi had been moved elsewhere. I don't have the full details yet, hopefully today further information will come in.
It is very sad as it has been stolen from a young couple who have just had their first bubba and had spent many hours and money doing the bus up.
Insurance may cover it in the practical sense but not the love and the care that went into creating their special kombi.
