Hi All,

Long time, no chat. I took a break from asking the Yi things which coincided with my break from dating. Funny how that happens huh? LOL Well last month, after the coercion of a handsome acquaintance, I began dating again.

But last night, I was stood up. I had been dating the guy for about a month but had met him 3 years prior (as an acquaintance). About 16 hours have passed at this point with no reply, no contact from him. I was concerned about his safety and baffled by his behavior as he has been typically communicative. Being also disappointed and heartbroken, I messaged him on FB and got a read receipt some 2.5 hours after our scheduled date but still no response.

So I asked the Yi: Will he contact me? Answer: Hexagram 18.2.3.6>2

Any interpretations are welcome, advice too. Well wishes are also welcome.

Cyber Hugs!

Perhaps he is taking the cowards way out ? That is how it looks to me from what you say and from the reading. The reading seems to counsel you not to give thought to his approval/disapproval in 18.6.

Perhaps the 18.6 is about him....I don't know. Anyway I cannot say if he will or won't call, I just don't know. But the feel of the reading for me is, if the answer refers to him, he is taking the easy way out. That is he isn't acting his best self which would be to tell you he wanted to end it rather than just leave it like that.

It is difficult because one might think he had met with an accident, yet you know he received your email.

It's not a nice thing to happen to you and I'm sorry that it has. Maybe you put the experience down to dating a not very nice person who lacks the courage to tell you to your face that he wants out ?

UPDATE: He did text me the day of this question. It was a workout selfie (douchey). He promised that he would call. He did not. I asked the Yi what to make of all this, I got Hexagram 8.3 "You seek union with unworthy people." It couldn't be more clear than that. I have since deleted his contact info.

Lol Trojina you funny but remember unique cooke a guy that does what he did to you and then sends you a selfie of himself flexin' his muscles (oh dear why don't we have a vomit emoticn) won't be riding in on a white horse anytime soon...
Good on you for deleting his contact details and not getting sucked into his unworthiness - you've said it yourself You. Are. A. Unique. Cookie.

And if he sends you a text saying 'You'll never find a guy like me' hit reply and send ' that's the plan' - Liss

@Goddessliss and @Trojina Indeed! You just can't make this stuff up. I need to write a book, nay a screenplay of these Assclowns. LOL

Many of us in the dating world have experienced parallel experiences such as yours - your situation is not unique per se. The uniqueness is in what we can learn from these douchebags and thank them for reminding us how wonderful and beautiful we are.
