Strange dream

I had a dream last night that didn't make much sense to me. In the dream my partner for 18 years and I were young and had just fallen in love. We were trying to move into his parents house, but the parents were strangers to me and the apartment was a strange one too. We tried climbing some ladder to a room but it was difficult and in the room was an old bed that I remembered from my grandmother's house.
The weird thing was that, although it was my own partner, it felt all new and exciting, like first love and it felt like he was someone else.
