Strange thing happened to me this morning.

First of "Hello!" to all! :bows: I'm new here and will have a few things to ask in the near future if you guys/girls don't mind. =0) OK, This is for any and all members that may know what this means. (if anything) It was 7:30 this A.M. and I was dead asleep dreaming about a really good show the wife and I were watching last night when the dream was interupted by an incredibly clear calming male voice that whispered into my left ear, The voice whispered," Hey Anthony." just as calmly and clearly as anything, I jumped up out of bed and took a quick look around the bedrooms, Yes, It felt THAT real. My wife whom I woke when I jumped up and ran looking through the rooms like a madman asked me what the heck was going on, so I explained the whole thing and she said I was nuts! LOL! So, what say you knowers of the old world ways? Dream? message? warning? BTW this was a very strange thing and I will probably remember it for the rest of my days as this has never happened to me before and I feel like I need an answer.

OK, I was dreaming only what happened before I went to bed, and that was my wife and I sitting on the sofa, watching the show "Spartacus: Vengeance". In the dream we were sitting on the sofa watching the show, no talking, no visual physical contact, nothing. The voice sounded as if someone bent over and whispered my name in my ear while I slept, and I'm kinda used to waking up abruptly as I am a very light sleeper and have trained myself to wake up with a clear head. Explanation needed, I was a FireFighter for ten years and HAD TO trained myself to wake up abruptly, at anytime during the night, with a the clear mind thats needed to do the job correctly.

If i go by the Yis response, I think its a very apt reading...

You were sleeping, decreasing your mental activity by dreaming. Line one suggests that you possibly have worries about other people, or you are neglecting people? Possibly there is a relationship that you depend upon?

I think perhaps your subconcious is trying to let you know that you need to integrate a relationship or relationships back into your life?

I think the voice is calling you to attend to features of the series that are relevant to your life. I like Yxeli's reading of 41.1 > 4. In the series (so I understand) Spartacus is in search of a lost love. Maybe you need to reaffirm your love for your wife, and the voice "Hey Anthony" is calling you to wake up to that.

I think the 41.1>4 casting done on behalf of ilikedreams indicates the situation. 41 is the spiritual vessel and 4 indicates the lack of knowing what was going on or learning experience. 41.1 might mean when we put our obligations to the mundane aside, we can better fulfill our purpose in life.

Many people have had similar experiences to this, but do not talk about them because it at least raises eyebrows. Did it sound like your Dad? "Maybe if you whisper in his ear when he's sleeping, he'll hear you."

Sometimes it could be someone you love that has passed saying hello. Sometimes I have heard the voice of a living person because they are thinking about me or praying about me, and it's woken me up. It's all filtered through our unconscious, so the quieter our minds the more clear the sensory aspect of it. I read an American Health Magazine study once upon a time, where it was noted the single thing, the one correlating factor that diverse people reporting spiritual experiences have in common is being better adjusted psychologically than the norm. Ironic, but the study indicated having spiritual experiences of various kinds is a general indicator of above average mental health.

Anyway where I am from the psychologists consider such experiences fully within the range of "normal" human experience.
