Take CFA exam mock this weekend? Hexagram 1.2.5 > Hexagram 30

Should I take my program mock exam this weekend or next?

Hexagram 1.2.5 changing to Hexagram 30.

I should show up to my mock exam tomorrow since its will be good practice even though I have not thoroughly covered all the sections? Hexagram 30 - get it done with and be a little relieved?


Why am I not getting this material?

Subjected is trusted by all around him <- no clue what that means. Hexagram 56 is stranger as perhaps because I am new to the material (especially since its only been 3 months?)

It hasn't engaged your imagination. Focus on how you will use it in the future.

im not sure how this would engage my imagination especially since its logic based on established principles/rules. Perhaps my imagination in how I remember stuff (like acronyms). I would't use it for anything practical in the future, nor does anyone I know use the material at work. It's simply just a paper certificate showing my interest in the field of study.

But perhaps i am not cut out for the Exam?

Could be a temporary situation ( 56) and it needs some more time to familiarize yourself or the whole thing will come together. I sense a sort of resistance; would it be helpful if you arrange a study group ? or it might say that you need to be more helpful to your self and especially the part finds the material difficult.

I got this line for a person's procedure and I found it very encouraging and soothing . Even if you fell like a fish out of water there is help out there you can reach out.

A friend had ask me to run together a statistical program. she was well versed on spreadsheets and what we had was very simple . Only the word "statistics" frozen and terrified her. We knew the same about that program ( i.e. nothing we had to learn it) but she couldn't "see" it was just as Excel - the biggest part of it. She felt totally dependent on me, while it was not true , because there where thing she could do alone and there was no need to be so lost .

Don't think Yi says you can't make it. A change on the approach ( emotional or practical) , focus on specific "problems" and bite through them is what I read. Again, an encouraging reading, imo.

Thanks, i pretty much am just focusing on the problems now - instead of the reading. Works a little better.
