Q: How should I allocate my tax refund this year?

A: 58.2>17

I know it sounds silly, but there's many ways I can spend it or use it. I can save all of it. I can spend part of it on either furniture for my apt or on consumer debt. I can pay off consumer debt. I can pay half of consumer debt and use the rest to buy something I want.

I can have fun with it or be frugal and conservative or somewhere in between.

58 sounds fun. 17 sounds like following my inner compass. What say you?

Furniture sounds good, since it will allow lively exchange, and sociability, as you host gatherings (indicated by hexagram 58.2)
Paying off consumer debt is obviously practical though the hexagram does not mention that, in my opinion-- except that hex 17 says follow what is good and right.

Ooh, good observation. I got a feel that it wasn't saying pay off all my debt. I have an interest-free credit card for the next year that has 80% of my debt on it anyway. No need to rush on that one, as I will pay it off by the end of the intro period. But, man I've been wanting a really nice work bench and reclining sofa for a while now. Not to mention a new bed.

Well, sociability and new bed goes nicely together. Thanks, lover.
