"易經明道錄" or "The Book of Changes Ming Dao Lu" by Zhu Bangfu​

An e-text version of the I Ching by Zhu Bangfu, the father of Chinese computers is available for free download and on-line reading. It is only available in Chinese, and with some effort can be read using Google translate.
There is a section at the end where an interesting method is given to obtain hexagrams and determine good or bad luck. It is based on the plum blossom divination method, and according to the author an accuracy level of 60% to 90% can be reached when using this method which is easy to learn. I haven't figured it out yet, but I will be studying the notes and tables to see if it works for me, and perhaps other users in these forums may have success and a bit of fun experimenting with it. Something about Zhu Bangfu (extracted from a journal entry by the author)

The author has been engaged in Chinese computers for seventeen years since 1973, and has experienced it firsthand：
(1) invented the form-intent-checking method in 1976 and was registered with the Ministry of Interior.
(2) was renamed Cangjie Input Method in 1978. In 1980, in order to popularize the application of Chinese, the patent application was abandoned.
(3) invented the "vector grouping method" in 1978 and produced it as "Dragon One" in cooperation with Acer.
(4) In 1980, Lingyi Technology Company was established and completed more than ten types of Chinese computers modified from various labels
Such as: NEC, ALTOS, SHARP, NORTH STAR, VICTOR, FRANKLIN, PA 800, S-100
BOARD. It also designs various Chinese terminals and Chinese computers for various domestic computer companies.
(5) In 1980, in a private name, major domestic computer companies and manufacturers were invited to provide technology to each factory
