Today while consulting the oracle about what I have to look forward to in the future of my love life (whether if it brings me back to my recent ex or leads me to someone new) I got;
hexagram 50 with lines 1, 5 and 6 > hexagram 43.
Now i'm not entirely sure but the first line in 50 says something about everything being spilt in the pot, like getting rid of the bad.. and of a concubine, in relation to the other lines i'm not sure what this means then the hexagram changing to 43 sets my confusion further. The other lines in 50 suggest good fortune and progress but the first line then 43 breakthrough (of what?)... well i'm not quite too sure how to interpret them in relation to the other ones :s
is this good or bad?
Now I think maybe the first line can be applied to my recent relationship,
with the cauldron being overturned and all the bad spilt, the things being cooked in it turned bad and had to be rid of... (not too sure though, maybe this is on something that's looking past this) but maybe with the rest of the lines being able to find good luck after or out of everything being spilt in the cauldron?
Hmmmm I don't know.......
Another question which I should probably ask somewhere else (if you can't or don't want to answer then I understand) but how does the Iching give answers to the questions like the one I asked?

The casting is auspicious. In line 1, damage is being repaired. In line 5, true worth come out. In line 6, merit is recognized. Every pot has a lid. Hexagram 43 with Dui (affection) above and Qian (strength) below accords with your having a good love life in the future.

Yup getting rid of the bad again, rebuilding a new pot of goodness .
The resulting 43 should've been the hex I had paid attention to though because if anything it was saying there may be problems you need to take care of right now to prepare for the future -50.
I should've been focusing on my own problems and taking care of them... But no, Gary came to see me the next month to talk to me after returning from Mexico. I ignored the advice and jumped into it again.. We decided to moved in together not long after. *face palm* oh well hey I learnt something from it all. It was a good opportunity for me looking back now it opened my world up.
