THE DEATH OF MY MOTHER Pt.1

Greetings,

Some of you know I've been asking the Yi about my mother and her health. You can't change the Mandate of Heaven. My mother died on Wednesday August 16th, 2006 at 12:29pm. I do not follow my families Catholic tradition for the deceased, I'm more of a Buddhist/Taoist. I was very concerned about my mother's body being touched after her death, and, the emotional state of my family around the body. This is not always the best for the loved one, since the soul may still try to hang-on after it passes.

I ask the Yi two questions concerning my mother after her death, and would like the assistance of anyone with more experience in this area than I have in helping me interpret my answeres please.

1. Please show me where my mother's spirit went to after she left her body on Wednesday 8-16-2006?

Hex# 26 6-5, changing into Hex# 9




2. Is my mother O.K. where she is now? Please speak to me about this.

Hex# 55 6-2, 6-5, 6-6 changing into Hex# 1




In sparring all of you not familiar with Buddhist beliefs in regards to death, the time immediately after death and for the first 49 days are very complicated. I'm very, very, very concerned for my mother. She was a tremendous woman, a very giving woman, and deserves peace. I don't know how to fully grasp these answers right now. Perhaps this is all due to my own mental/emotional state?

the answer to your first question: Hex 26.5>9,
Hex 26.5 says that she has confronted and disabled a powerful enemy, death and she has now moved on.
Hex 9 ??? her Spirit has gone with the wind, she has become one with the wind, her Spirit is everywhere.

Answer to question two: Hex 55.2,5,6>1
Hex 55.2 says that although you feel isolated and unsure you still have a very strong connection with your mother.
Hex 55.5 says that the next chapter in your book of life is full of love, beauty, and joy. Rewards and praise will come.
Hex 55.6 says you now feel pain but don't become trapped by it, don't shut yourself away, get back out there, move on.

Hex 1 the creative, "the creative works sublime success" , positive, as you believe in reincarnation then you should have no problem in understanding that she is fine, instead of feeling sad, you should feel joyful to know that she is okay. Now a new cycle has begun for her, a new beginning, growth of a new entity. Now it is your time to grow, a new chapter in your life has just begun.

Even if death ia a natural issue in our lifes, that doesn't means it is easy for those of us that survive. my best wishes for you.

I understand your worries about your mom, bearing your believes. Let me quote the first thing I say to you (when you got 60 unchanging):
"The ruling line advices that one can face this danger with serenity and happiness...the image is someone that cross the great river with joy... in many cultures, death is seen as a transitional stage symbolized by crossing the river.

Is not always easy to made this transition with joy and serenity, but that is the recomendation in this situation.

It is never easy give this kind of interpretation, because I know this could produce sorry and grieve. But I'm conviced that in some times, this is a golden advice: don't fight aginst this, but seize the time to achieve this transition with serenity, dignity and happiness. In traditional teaching, this is the most important achievement to get a better start in the next life."

I know that your mom did achieve this. 55>1 her choices lead her to Heaven

Please accept my condolences regarding your loss. I agree with what Chris said. It was the first thing I thought of as well.
