I asked the I Ching to comment on the Dogon Cosmology ( http://www.pbs.org/wonders/Episodes/Epi5/5_wondr1.htm )
The answer I got was hexagram 16 stressed lines 2 and 4 changing it into hexagram 7. I think that the I Ching was saying that the Dogon cosmology teaches the Dogon and others to work together for the good of the whole community. And shows them how doing that will benifit everyone. The other part of the hexagram (7 - The Army) is showing how the cosmology of philosphy gives everyone a rank or hieracrchy for duties/things to do in life. Following and doing things (rituals, work etc) by following a regimen. There is a certain time to do this a certain time to do that. Like the miltary would do too. I hope I am clear. Anyone else want to add to that? Peace.
