62.6 cont.

I think 62.6 is a warning to not go too far, but to come back after a trip.

And what a long strange trip it's been. After deleting my name from the forum - right after Bruce's post of "Uh-oh, did I break a rule?" - misunderstanding and then ridicule, thanks Bruce, you are such a pal - my husband and I had to head out for New Orleans to salvage what was left. By the time I got back to the computer and discovered I was missed the group had already moved on, and I must admit was doing very well without my incessant yapping. Some of the comments about me were hurtful, but some were so healing. Geez, it was like attending my own funeral. Frank, the poem about the house burning down and now one can see the moon meant the world to me after losing our home to Katrina. Thank you.
I waited a few days before posting, thinking maybe there would be the perfect line to come back in on and then I had two dreams in one night. The first is still so scary I am not sure if I should even tell it but I think it's important. It refers to when my son was about 4 he went with a play group to a park and got lost. The group leaders did not call me right away to inform me. Meanwhile my son was picked up by police and he was able to direct them to our house. So before I even knew he was lost my son was returned home. Happy ending. Well, now back to the dream. I read your postings and realized people really genuinely cared about me, but i had a little trouble getting back into the system and then put off doing anything until this dream. In the dream I was shown how my son's coming home safe and sound had somehow been connected with the good karma I had created 35 years LATER by letting my I Ching friends know I was home. In other words, I was shown that Karma or cause and effect is not just from the past to the future, but also works from the futrue to the past! So of course I immediately got up and figured out a way to get back on board (email Hilary, d'uh). Then when I went back to bed I was thinking, "Should I share this with the group?" I felt I had to report in just so folks wouldn't worry about me, but do they want me back? What if I continue to come off sounding like a teacher? Then I had the second dream. It barely lasted a nano second. We were all in a huge classroom together. I came late, and wanted so badly to be with you, but there were no seats left so I stood in frount of the class instead. Suddenly someone (I actually think it was Martin!) moved over a bit and said, "Sit here. You don't have to be the teacher. We want you to be our friend." Is that true? I so hope so.
Anyway, I came back.

Love,
Rosada

Rosada, interesting dreams. Reminds me of when I was about 4 years old and got seduced by some young vixen in training to come to her house for a play date after school. A few hours later, my mom called the police and I got escorted back home in a police car. Welcome back, everyone.

"Ut-oh, did I break a rule?" - ridicule??? Or just a little joke.
Better brake the wheels, or the flying bird gets caught, or the fox will wet its tail. Many other things were said, things which were not little jokes. So being friends has to come from all sides, from everyone and including everyone.

I feel like we're a band of explorers regrouping at the foot of Mt. Everest after scaling the peak. We've weathered snow storms and avalanches, but as you noted earlier, LiSe, look how far we've come! Now it feels to me like we're at base camp WAITING FOR THOSE WHO GOT LOST TO RETURN before we sail home (Where Getojack is planning a party, right?). Meanwhile, as the Sorrel's say in The I Ching Made Easy, 63 is "A spring morning and the promise of a wonderful day."

Aside to Bruce ("chewthecud"?), if you want to draw anymore cartoons, I visualize you as Dobie Gillis and me as Zelda. ;-)

Aside to Trogan/Void, I claim that it was I who started this thread, but it was you who first recognized it's potential. I just wanted to acknowledge that. Thank you.

Aside to Rosalie, I think all the squabling exhausted you. Please re-enroll. Even if you don't want to say anything, just your bi-line, Peace, raises the vibration.

A rubbish internet connection where I am now doesn't allow me to post reliably. But it's let me in for just long enough to say - very cool dreams! :bows:

Are we verging on 63.3 yet? I think the demon country's looking worse for wear, at least.

Does anybody remeber the original intention (ascend to next level on how to use Yi Jing)?.

That intention is like trying to subjugate the Gui region... one "can only succeed with patience, tenacity, perseverance, purposiveness" (lise's comment) and avoiding getting lost in lower aspects.

But no matter if now, or within the next 3 years, the task would be achieved.

63.4 before completion of this thread, care should be taken so that we cross the river fully. the new thread starting at hex one should not be undertaken until this one reaches the shore, lest there be a thread dangling loose and all attention turned to a new undertaking. it wont be three years, but care is still required

Something's Got to Give

63.5

There's something coming to the surface
There's fire all around
But this is all illusion...sion...sion

I've seen better days than this one
I've seen better nights than this one
Something is rebuilding
Something's got to give... got to give
Something's got to give

Climbers gather back at Base
High-fives all around and weary looks too.
Just get us out of here.
Wandering off to tents
glancing back at the mountain,
Yeah, just get us out of here.
But we DID it!
Hmmmmpfh.
That too.

Still, the missing and the bone-weary cannot dampen the party.
The celebration begins.

At peace together, now future dissension cannot harm -
each now remembers
a way in which they were connected to another.

Then, later, down by the river,
a bit more drunk than you'd wanted,
if you stick your head in the water you can hear echos, screams.
You know that
even now behind us the mountain is pulsating flux,
even now the cathedral is collapsing,
the plants overgrowing:
hypnotic rapture,
a taste of salt,
Ilda.

O glorious past!
Ach! Difficult present.
Which do you choose,
here on the mountainside?

"the best thing for being sad, replied Merlyn, beginnning to puff and blow, "is to learn something. That is the only thng that never fails....That is the only thing which the mind can never exhaust, never alienate, never be tortured by, never fear or distrust, and never dream of regretting."

"Gosh Mojo, are you alright? The logbook warned us about trying to cross this river too quickly. I think we got your tail wet."

Mojo yawns, stretches and scratches his ear with his hind leg.

"So you're okay? Maybe you ought to just relax in the hall until it's completely dry."

Mojo leaps up, wags his tail furiously, spraying water on everyone as he runs about the diningroom.

At first shocked and then delighted, the weary travelers cheer and award him a seat at the table.

Pour yourselves a tall one, Friends,
Before you read this post,
Then raise your glass and join me,
In The I Ching Traveler's Toast:

"It might have been alot better,
It could have been alot worse,
But we persevered together, so..
Good fortune!- No Remorse!"

Wonderfully smart and very clever thread. So sorry I came too late for the party.

Bumping it up for others who might have missed it.

Re-reading this I realized I didn't remember our plot line - just the joyful feeling while we were creating it. Hmmm...I wonder if that says something about Life? Btw, some of the original posts had weird signs like %^& in them - something funny with the computer - I went through and cleared that out but did not change any of the posts.

This is one crazy thread. Just read it for the first time. I think some really deep group therapy went down.

I'm a necro-poster now! :D

Will enjoy the sweet redolent unearthed decay as I drift off into some zzzz's

Nighty nights xo
