I have received some answers from the IC when asking what some may consider to be an odd question: "What has X recently expressed to his best friend about me or our situation?"

The first time I asked that question I got an answer that was so obvious, relevant, to the point and turning out to be true that I was quite amazed.

I just asked the exact same question (it's like the IC allows you to be a fly on the wall) and am positive that once again, the Yi is answering the question.

Remember that I cut all ties with someone I have an extreme bond to. I'm doing OK but it's slow progress because the attraction and bond is so cosmically strong.

So I asked the above question again. Now, X's best friend is also married and also has a girlfriend or two on the side..they discuss their "social" lives with each other, of course, because they are best friends.

The answer is relevent to me because it tells me more about the character. And I know it's true:

Oh and I find it also interesting and highly accurate that it leads to the hexagram for obstruction. As the little fisher boy has been obstructed indeed!

Well, I think you're looking at this situation thorough rose-coloured spectacles Laylab. The "attraction and bond" is so strong because it's a whopping bag of powerful chemicals. They don't subside quickly. All this is in your blood flowing through the veins and mirrored at the energy level.

Maybe this guy never actually wanted to understand. REAL love, at least from the data you have given, never seemed to be in the picture - not really.

So, once you can stop asking questions about what he is doing and how he's feeling, the quicker you can get on with your life and move on. We are talking cold turkey period - the come down after a really great shot in the arm....

My experience taught me (it's interesting how today I find you all had hexes I'm experienced about! It happens so rarely!) that hex. 48 implies always a contradiction between the consultant's deep talent, qualities or emotional richness (water) and the impossibily to move (i.e. to express himself without the intervention of somebody else), that can be both psycological and factual. So, Laylab, I fear that your ex-lover thinks also he's been somewhat "paralysed" during your relationship; and that he's been still for too much time. And that also says much about him. I can totally see why he would feel that way as I have blocked him over and over again during the course of our relationship. Never making it easy for him. In fact, my sister was amazed that he keeps coming back because I have made is to extraordinarily difficult for him.

I did the same thing. Now I am looking back i think i wanted his attetion thats why I "Never making it easy for him" as you said.
And he accepted that because he knew that was the price for not giving me the time i needed. Just a thought....
