A long distance lover whom I've known for seven years has come back to settle some family matters has recently connected with me while he is in town. This is the one I feel destined to be with. So I finally mustered the courage to ask IC:

Thank you Willowfox. Your advice is always welcome. I wasn't sure how to read it as I am too close to the situation.. . We both still issues to explore, discuss - I always sense part of him wants to move closer, and another part of him wants his independence. It's like a mirror, as I feel the same way. One of us needs to step up to the plate and announce what we want so we can move forward with our lives.
