A hexagram include two triagrams. For example,䷵ includes ☳ and ☱.
䷵Gui mei(歸妹): Gone Maid.
☳Zhen/dzien(震): The symbol of Thunder(雷) and East(東), etc.
☱Dui/duei(兑): The symbol of Lake(澤) and West(西), etc.
Chinese people usually describe a hexagram as two triagrams: ䷵ usually Read as "thunder-lake, Gone Maid"(雷澤,歸妹) or "Zhen upper-Dui lower, Gone Maid"(震上兑下,歸妹)in modern times. But actually, ䷵ read as "Dui lower-Zhen upper. Gone Maid "(兑下震上。歸妹) in Chinese ancient times.
I got a ䷵->䷁ in a divination about Chairman Mao. Chairman Mao's name is "澤東" and ䷵ include ☳東 and ☱澤. So, I think I can read a hexagram as two trigrams and the lower first.

I can read the ䷊"Develop"(泰tai, thai, dals, dads or dai?) as ☰天-☷地
I cannot accurately translate 天(tian, thien) and 地(di, die, l'els) into English.
☷地 is earth.

I prefer reading the lower trigram first, as it forms the foundation for the upper trigram. Or in relating, often the lower gives an internal perspective and the upper gives an external / other person perspective.

With my limited knowledge i Believe we are correct, but i have a question to Thomas6:

Why, no, whatfor did you Post nr. 2 Post and say you "can not"?

Can we talk about 泰 and you can say what you think about it?

OK. But it's not easy to explain it. First of all, do you know the table of mapping 64 hexagram to 60 Chinese ganzhi(干支)? For example,
time "庚辰" mapped to ䷊泰tʰɑi tai., next one:
time "辛巳" mapped to ䷍大有dɑi'ɣiəu da'you. next one:
time "壬午" mapped to ䷸巽suon/swən xun. next one:
time "癸未" mapped to ䷮困kʰuon/kʰwən kun. next one:.
time "甲申" mapped to ䷿未济miuəi'tsei wei'ji. next one:
time "乙酉" mapped to ䷠遁kuən dun. next one:
time "丙戌" mapped to 艮䷳kən gen.
"tʰɑi" is ancient Chinese pronunciation of 泰.
"tai" is Chinese Pinyin pronunciation of 泰.
"dɑi'ɣiəu" is ancient Chinese pronunciation of 大有.
"da'you" is Chinese Pinyin pronunciation of 大有.
"suon/swən" is ancient Chinese pronunciation of 巽.
"xun" is Chinese Pinyin pronunciation of 巽.
Or,
time "己酉" mapped to ䷷旅ljo lu/lv, next one:
time "庚戌" mapped to ䷋否bji/piu pi/fu/fou, next one:
time "辛亥" mapped to ䷇比bji bi, next one:
time "壬子" mapped to ䷲震tɕin zhen, next one:
time "癸丑" mapped to ䷕贲piɛ/biun bi/ben…
I found that name of a hexagram is ordered by specific pronunciation. So, I translated 歸妹(䷵Guei mei) to "Gone Maid". But what about ䷊泰(tai,tʰai,dals, dads or dai)?"Develop"?

By the way,
time "癸卯" is mapped to ䷵歸妹(Gui mei). next one: time "甲辰" is mapped to ䷥睽(Kui)
