In a way to me this is an awfull short story in the way of trust and cheat and help and mis-use.

I had somebody staying in my place for a couple of month because I have the place and he was homeless in a way.

I'am sure he was the one that stole a precious ring of mine.

It is too complicated to type it all here but he knows that I think the ring is with his belongings, not stolen but out of some kind of accident.

What does the IC forsee on my question if he will return the ring to me..: 64.3.5 > 44

To me it doesn't seem very hopefull although line 5 might give some...?!

44 Meeting together doesn't seem a very positive outcome to me either although it could mean a -real- coming together for the exchange of this ring.

Insight very appreciated!

Hiya

These are my first thoughts on the matter... I may revise them in a bit!

First off, that statement in the image in 64 - the superior man is careful in the differentiation of things suggests be careful about jumping to conclusions....

64.3 don't get into a fight with the guy, hang in there until things become clearer and get some help if you can. Don't force it.

64.5 implies that if you do that (ie don't jump to conclusions at this point and don't fight with the guy) you will be in a position to get a clearer picture of what happened to your ring - more info

44 hmm tricky - not necessarily an 'outcome' could be you/could be him/could be an attitude - it can be something tempting that gets out of hand - as you say you don't think he knicked it, could this be your assumption that he has it?? Or it could be that he does have it?

Either way, you may be right about the guy but the ching says don't get your tail in the water 'cos you ain't there yet and you need to step back a bit for now. If you go down the accusation route you won't get there

If I have any lightbulb moments I'll get back to you!

I'm such a duh brain...

coming to the forum could be counted as getting helpers!!

why don't you ask the ching "what do I need to know about the loss of my ring ?"

This gives the ching more room for manouvre - it carries no assumptions in the question.
