Time and I Ching

Hi!

I want to know some instructions about how to discover a period of time with a I Ching answer. Example: the best time to start a busines travel, to mariage, and so on. Blofeld's brazillian version have an uncompleted sheet, but I think you have a better teach to me.

I've only asked about timing once, and i did it as a series of separate castings e.g. "what if I do .... now", " what if I do .... in 6 months time", " what if I do .... in 5 years time", "what if I never do .... ", etc, etc, etc.

There may be a more elegant way, but this way worked for me.

I haven't got far with the timing thread yet, hopefully I will be able to work on it again soon. Note also my note in the hex 31 to 49 thread....

I might suggest just practice, and getting familiar with the lines and what they say. Often the answer is within the line itself. I do think it is difficult to derive from the I Ching that something happens in precisely 3 weeks or 6 months. A lot of it is following the signs.
