Hello everyone,

Our chat room is gathering cobwebs (even worse than the beginners' room, Candid). Might I suggest a belated spring-cleaning session of the I Ching room next Sunday? 5pm GMT, same as last time, if that suits everyone?

Here's the front door.

What to chat about? I would love to pick everyone's brains about the practical ways in which divination actually changes life. Maybe come with an example or two? But this will not be a very structured discussion...

Well I'll say, its about time. I've been begging for some live chat for about a week in the past. Oh criminny, I'll not be able to make the date as I have limited internet time (I wont be at work that week; no 'net at home, long story).
I hope you all have some enlightening chats!

I would like to chat this Sunday if I can figure out what time zone I?m in. The Yi has had a major practical impact on my life lately. For one thing, thanks to its somewhat counter-intuitive advice, I was able to land a good job last week. I?ve been out of work for several months, and the job I really wanted had 39 qualified applicants. It was a loooong shot. Somehow the Yi put the key to the situation in my hand. But I must also say the Yi has handed me quite a few enigmas lately as well. So I?ve been thinking a lot about what it means to use the Yi when answers are of the utmost importance.

I believe 5 pm London time is 1 pm here on the east coast of the US. maybe not though as we are presently on daylight savings time. At any rate, I will try to remember and check in. I assume we use the same password as we do for everything else. I may not have much to say, but will say what I can.

I'm sorry but will not be able to attend. I'm driving 13 hours to Reno to attend my youngest son's wedding over the weekend.

Candid, it will be very quiet without you!

Still - son's wedding - might just be worth missing a Clarity chat, I suppose... A shame Shaun can't make it, either. You can always invite people to a chat any time... it doesn't have to be me who does it, the room is always there.

All we have to do is make sense of the time zones. Ha. I said 'GMT' thinking this would be helpful - probably it wasn't. Here in the UK we are also saving daylight: at 5pm GMT it is 6pm here. There is a time zone converter at http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc: choose 5pm GMT and convert to your own timezone, and all will be well.

One other thing - sorry, Gene, but if you want an account in the chat, you'll have to create it separately. We don't have the technology here to integrate chat and forum!
