to do or not to do (25.2 and 14)

Hello, everyone

I hope you can help me out here. I had some troubles with my boss and my job got jeopardized. When we spoke about these things we were in colflict and my boss said that he decided that he would not prolong my contract which expires in the end of this jear.
I let the situation cool down and me and my boss have been going along great, we reestablished the bond, the climate is very nice and pleasant...but we never discussed my contract again and now I don't know what to expect. I am still hoping he will change his mind because I would like to keep this job.

I asked Yi Jing: will my boss extend my contract?
I got 25.2 - which is about going with the flow, not doing anything with any agenda...So i read this as "let it be" and all will be well in the end.

But still I feel I need to clarify some things with my boss, talk to him about some issues - becuase he said that this job was not challenging enough for me, that I needed someting better - but I am happy here and I want to tell him that!

So, I asked Yi Jing: should I talk to my boss?
I got 14 unchanging. I guess it would be a good thing?

I am not sure how to read these two hexagrams...on one hand I feel I should just let it be and keep this relationship easy and flowing - on the other hand I feel I need to clarify some things, but I am afraid that I might ruin things if I open some stuff...I am confused and going over this in my head - can you help with some advice, please?

By the way, my own take on 25.2 its the same that yours:

I got 25.2 - which is about going with the flow, not doing anything with any agenda...So i read this as "let it be" and all will be well in the end.

But with the difference of not beign sure if there's guarantee that all will be well in the end even in the best case scenario... going with the flow and doing everything allright.

Maybe 25.2 is the Yi saying: "You have to do a good job if you really want to do it, but do it for its own sake, not worrying about the outcome of the situation."

My take on 14 unchanging its a BIG YES to the idea of talking to your boss as a GREAT ASSET for increasing your chances of keeping on working with him in the future.

After all, that feeling you had about the importance of talking to your boss, maybe was already part of the flowing of events and right actions you need to do...
