i have been speaking with someone about
a major loss and he made a suggestion to
buy a part of my business and to sell out
for peace and litigate no more

I consulted the Yi

is this advisor trustworthy?
2.1.4.6 > 21 this seems to imply
going for legal redress but in what way
i am unsure
---------------------------------------------------
the alternative advice is to challenge the
business loss and seek damages which involves
a painstaking scour of the case so to see
if such labour would be fruitful i asked

what will happen if this case is reopened?
26.1.3.4 > 41

the lines here in the first hexagram seem to
say that going through this process will make
for a larger life (greater experience and understanding
that I can use in my skill set?) but 41 seems
to imply being lesser off ultimately

----------------------------------------------------
i then considered is it best to fight or could
it be a tragic waste of time and energy ?
might it pay better to let it go and use energy for
new growth .............so i asked

is this battle worth it?
58.1.4.5>7
so 58 implies joy but in legal suits i have rarely
seen joy except for the winner and i need to
know if that would be me this time round??
7 seems to imply a cadre or people or expertise
may arise out of it?

involved but input most appreciated before igo down
a rabbit hole and emerge eons later:duh:

Hi am currently looking at the last reading as i know with myself in the past the last reading sometimes you finally get the right question.

58.1 is like a quiet confidence do you feel like this or can you relate to that? the next line really is talking about weighing up your options, i suppose what are the right reasons only then is it that right thing to do and the last line seems to warn of do you know exactly what you getting into , do you know the rules of this war like a game of chess, master chess players study their oppenent right down to what colour undrpants they wear if you know what i mean,

I am seeing 7 as an army getting ready for battle

I can see how this also relates to your first question as to help learn the rules you are relying on the advisors advice

will get back to you on that one

Am i making sense or am I way off?

no Steve you are hitting the nail right on the head. I am a quick minded
person - or a lucky person some say but I have been outwitted in this
game. Lengthy legal battles I see are wars of attrition noone goes into
them if it can be helped at all.
Even if the law has been abused it is unwise to challenge as some
people absolutely love this game as it is the art of war - as you say
i do not know the rules and also it is so cerebral I cannot access my
intuition for guidance and that really worries me.

I think I can only learn the lesson - do what I do best and always have
the money and the lawyer on hand in future to never be fleeced again.

I know I am on foreign territory. Please do get back and thanks I have
learnt something about the dialogue with IC - the questions gety more
to the point of what i am seeking/needing to know.

steve i answered on your migraine post - as like you i had a six day
migraine and was totally bedridden. i stayed in the dark - the pain
is indescribable. I remember on the 6th day i was able to write and
I vowed I would always be grateful for the daily things I do and take
for granted.
