in other words travel today or tomorrow ? (never like to travel
too much in one day these days espec with dog) tomorrow I can

From both Hexagrams and lines, from my perspective, traveling tomorrow looks better.

I have always hated line 4 of 63 ("The finest clothes turn to rags. Be careful all day long. " ) Line 5 about the eastern neighbor slaughtering the ox would seem to be about sticking to simplicity rather than extravagance? But not sure how it would apply here, hmmmm............

H41 has often been set forth as diminishing the amount of work in some way, which you would know the particulars of.

bedding Bruce in he just loved being groomed with his

I would say contemplate all (H20) and do all in innocence, with a mind open to possibilities, and stay steadfast (line 4). I think it should all work out for you.

saturday Yi is telling me I am running the risk of arriving
late for this event.

Am always puzzled by Emotional I Ching's take on 41.2: "Augmentation is required; Hamming things up." Compare to Legge: "he can give increase to his correlate without taking from himself".

Yes, line 6 would imply a kind of blessing in furthering others. Acquiring servants, but "family interests cease": i.e. personal or egoistic ones, I would infer.

I have always liked Richard Lynn's passage in the image and judgment of Hexagram 8 (from memory here), about inquiring of the oracle whether your virtue is long lasting, "then those in places not at peace will come; for those who are late, it will be ill." Of course one immediately envisions some political revolution (at least I do)....

Can you be well on time to this event? Or is it implying a state of mind, a preparedness?? I think the latter....
