A new poll that most of the people believe that the media is fake and that liberal ideologies are harming the country. However, independents are turning away from Republicans.

My first question is, "Will Trump's war on media help him in 2020?" 9.1.3 Small Taming to 59 Dispersing.
Line 1 says, "Returning to your own path, How could you be wrong? Good fortune." This line confuses me. Can this be that this is the only way to keep his supporters?
Line 3 says, "A cart losing its wheel spokes. Husband and wife avert their eyes." Can this be that people are turning away?

My second question is, "How much more attacks on the media will we expect from Trump?" 38.1.4 Opposing to 4 Not Knowing.
Line 1 says, "Regrets vanish. Lost horse: don't pursue it, it returns of itself. See hateful people – no mistake." Does this mean that it will backfire?
Line 4 says, "Opposed, alone. Meet an inspiring man. Joining together in truth and confidence. Danger, no mistake." Can the inspiring man be people from Fox News magnifying his attacks, but also backfire?

My third question is, "Are Democrats in danger of losing in 2020?" 39.1.6 Limping to 36 Brightness Hidden.
Line 1 says, "Going on, limping; coming back, praise." Can this be that they are still holding on, even the odds are against them?
Line 6 says, "Greatly limping; partners come." Will they gain support and win?

"Will Trump's war on media help him in 2020?" 9.1.3 to 59:

Yes. People will continue to wake up and see the truth of his messages. They will continue to see how he is leading us on the right path, and how the Democrats are throwing us off track.

How much more attacks on the media will we expect from Trump?" 38.1.4 to 4:

Trump knows his message is more important than ever. He will learn from his mistakes (unlike his opponents) and he knows he must continue to counter the liberals' rather selfish and short-sighted vision that they for our great nation.

Are Democrats in danger of losing in 2020?" 39.1.6 to 36:

Yes. They will continue to sit around on their hands and do nothing while Trump continues to provide us clarity and direction. The librerals will only have one option - to retreat - but if they are smart, they'll come to understand that Donald Trump is the 'great man' whom they should meet!

Footnotes on my reading, above:

* Nothing I've said here is what I believe, but if I were a Trump supporter, I could certainly justify everything I've said.

* This is an example of someone taking the Yi and making it fit their own political opinions - to cherry-pick through a reading and select only those words which match one's own way of seeing things - which others seem to be doing here as well.

* If Trump or Obama, or Maduro, or Putin, or Stalin or Mao were rulers in ancient China they too would likely be consulting the Yi.

* And they too would have the option of rather shallowly making the Yi fit their own opinions, or they could actually use the Yi to gain understanding and insight.

* And we still have those same choices today.

Fredda, what confuses me is that this is another distraction from the Mueller report and the SDNY investigations. I have seen tarot card readers online saying that Trump will resign soon or the report will reveal something big soon. I did a meditation reading of 2020 and saw that a young centrist male will win with a female VP.

Fanofenka, call me old fashioned like Bill Clinton, but I'm not sure what the 'this' is in your statement above?

Also, what I'm trying to point out is that your readings about Trump and the state of our nation's politics always seems to agree with your own views. I don't disagree with your views necessarily, but it seems to me that you're making the Yi rather one-dimensional - that you're using it more as a 'yes man'. And just because you've throw the Tarot and meditated on same, how do I or others know that you're not treating the tarot or your mediations the same way?

I recently read about Mao and the starvation that happened because of his 'great leap forward' (1959-1961) where tens of millions of Chinese starved to death unnecessarily. Some have since said that Mao was a ruthless, uncaring tyrant. But what seems more likely is that no one was willing to bring him bad news (they realistically feared for their livelihoods and their lives), so the harvests kept getting smaller, while the goverment quotas of what parts of the harvents should be sent to the cities kept getting larger. Finally, some of his rural cousins came to the capital and after wating a really long time, finally told him what was really happening in the country-side.

My point - this reminds me of someone having truthful or useful advice available to them - as we might get from the Yi - but not being willing to hear it because it doesn't agree with their own view of things. I could image, for example, Mao consulting the Yi (perhaps very unlikely given his view of religion and tradition), and his interpretations (or those of his 'ministers') always being, 'yes, it is as I thought, my ideas are working and millions of people are happy and better off because of what I've done.' (Which reminds me of a current leader we've been talking about here!)

(And I'm not sure what happened to Mao's cousins: they could have been punised by Mao for bringing him this bad news - but at least he finally had some 'truth' being told to him.)

And as I noted in another one of your readings, it is likely that the Yi - as we know it - was first used by the sovereigns, emperors and dictators of early China, so I do not think the oracle itself was ever meant to have a 'liberal' bent towards politics or governance. I could see, for example, instances where the Yi might have positive things to say about a leader who lied, or tried to control what people thought or what they read, or went to war, or secured borders with a very long wall, if this served the greater good and the 'mandate of heaven.'

Best, David
