Hello,
I asked two questions this morning regarding a friend of mine. The first was "why haven't I heard from X"? My answer was 14 unchanging. I am surprised I haven't heard from X. So I then asked "what can I expect from X"? I received 8.1.4 >17. I don't want to ask too many questions. I am not sure how to interpret the answers, although I have some ideas and I am feeling a bit nervous that I haven't heard from them, which is why I asked the second question, to get an asnwer and let it go. Could someone with more experience help? Thank you so much.:)

The circumstances here are quite sketchy so it is really hard to get a handle on this. Nevertheless, as far as hexagram fourteen is concerned, I suspect that your friend has been doing a bit of social climbing lately, and he or she just hasn't had time to interact with you.

As far as hexagram 8 is concerned with the changing lines, it will require a bit of willingness to accept the other persons needs, and allow them to go where they must to reach their own level of social influence. Your friendship may change, but it does not have to become poisoned. You can appreciate them for who they are.

Now, if this is a relationship, some of this may not apply, I could not tell from the context what kind of a friendship this was, but I suspect it is a good friend, and that you will have to allow a little bit of difference to enter into the friendship.

Seventeen, among other things can be about following, line one speaks of a standard that is changing, and it may be that the nature of the relationship is changing. Anyway, I hope all works out for the benefit of all.
