Unchanging hexagrams

For some reason - especially the past few months I have rarely got unchanging hexagrams

I have had an issue with a neighbour (not just me - others in my terrace). I have asked 4 questions about this - it has got quite nasty. I have had hex 2 . 2. 17. -just now 24. The questions were not the same at all but were linked to the topic.

I am not asking for specifics but wondered what in general a series of UC might mean. I have always thought it was saying - this is as is ....right now this is where you are.

Any thoughts?

Plenty of ideas here http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/frie...periences-With-Unchanging-Castings-Hexagram-0

Also there are ideas about unchanging hexagrams on module 4 of the Foundations Course we are working through in CC. I recommend watching the video for this module as by seeing how the primary and relating hexagrams interact one can see, as Hilary explains it, how there not being a relating hexagram at all might work.

I am a member of CC I think but I cannot really access -all parts if it anyway - via my phone. It is all too small
Thank you for this ...

I read somewhere that a succession of UC castings meant something that's all

Oh dear. Well you pay for CC so you should be able to access it.

If I had a series of unchanging castings....well it would feel like talking to someone who gave short to the point answers. In your shoes I think I'd ask myself if there was anything I could actually do about this. 2, 17 and 24 make it looks to me like Yi is saying that if you cannot actually do anything about this then perhaps it's better to either adapt to it or stop thinking about it ? To illustrate for exampleif a parent and child were waiting for a bus and the child was fretting asking over and over 'when is the bus coming ?'. A moving lines kind of answer from parent might be like

"well if it doesn't soon come, it is rather late, perhaps we should start walking to the next stop"

See there are options and explanations, they decide to make a choice about what to do is what the mother is saying.

An unchanging kind of answer to "when is the bus coming ?" might be

"the bus will come"

.....so the child is left with a fact to handle and nothing much to do about it

I'm not by any means saying this is what unchanging hexagrams are always like, as you can see from the link there are many ways to see them. But in regard to your series of unchanging answers....well I'm wondering if it's a bit like the bus stop answer.

I know you didn't ask about specifics but it could well be that this neighbour will sort it out, whatever it is by themselves. No intervention required by anyone else...or perhaps they will leave. So my sense of this is don't tire yourself out thinking of solutions....the solution can arrive without you.

That was very useful. ....
It felt like asking someone for something and being told No with nothing to go on. Why? Is there a reason? No...most unsatisfying actually.

Just accept he is a prize nasty and move on...

Unfortunately the current Clarity design was invented in those prehistoric times before people had smartphones. A new version is in the pipeline. But meanwhile - those videos should be device-responsive, and of course the course pdf files will display, and the mp3 files will play, in whatever you normally use. So the Foundations Course is pretty universally accessible.

If the forum layout is the problem, you can actually change that now for yourself on the settings page. Towards the bottom of this page -
http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/friends/profile.php?do=editoptions
- there's a 'forum skin' box, where you can select the default mobile skin. It includes a link to switch back if you don't like it.

The video plays perfectly on my phone. I didn't need to change any settings.

Relief! (I still don't have a phone to test it on.) Thanks.

Thank you
It isomer that it is all too small to navigate - and I find that my neck starts to struggle with using it.
Long video clips are an issue ..

I tend to limit the time I spend on things - more than the actual legistics
of it playing

I have had runs of UC castings... over a couple of days, even on different questions. I took it to mean, you don't have to do anything right now except go on as you are. This is unfolding by itself.

UC means the situ is static, of course in relation to the advice for every specific hexagram.

there are also hexagrams linked to month and moon sun cycles.. but yes for a given time the situ sill be static.

if your question contemplate a "time" and for example you got like 12 UC.. then it means you can forget about it for years.. :) but it this is my experience
