Urgent: Leave job or stay tomorrow morning? Hexagram 51

Context: Manager went behind my back to HR without warning me and told them I was not meeting their expectations. I have been told that I can take a Performance Improvement Plan (90 days), find another position there, or quit with severance. I am definitely feeling in a state of shock since this was unexpected with no communication on their part.

What should I do? Hexagram 51 unchanging.

This states I am in a state of shock or something unexpected happens....

How should I handle this situation? Hexagram 43.5.6 to Hexagram 14

I feel like this is saying they might rescind the offer and take back everything that was on the table including the severance. This is pointing at things I need to fix with myself? I honestly feel very hurt inside and just want to quit. This almost seems like I end up having to stay there even though I no longer wish to.

Hi jp78 last Monday I had people go behind my back and unfortunately got instant dismissal for the exact same reason as yours but without your choices.
I think Hex 51 is saying you're being given a personal shake up!!
Hex 43 is decision time and Hex 14 is a chance for you to give yourself a foundation to progress. You need to work out which option will give you the foundation to move forward for yourself.
The best thing to do is NOT make decisions based on your emotions but with clarity. Whether they are being fair or honest about your performance is not the point it's about the best you can take from the situation.

I feel like you make a good point, and several friends co-workers said I should not leave because it would be hard to find a job unemployed. But I do not like several aspects - the team, the manager, the work of reconciling budgets and numbers constantly. It's not me. I would rather spend the time off to focus on my coding fully and transition. I feel like it would be hard to improve with such a team.

If I leave will I be able to transform and develop my foundation?

Says avoid becoming frustrated with slow progress. Progress with sadness, and that the situation is not appropriate? I made a foolish decision?
