Update for June and beyond

Things may be getting back to 'normal' to some extent, but it would be a shame not to keep these gatherings going. So, we will, but now they are just every other week and they're moving to Thursdays (starting on the 11th). As before, the live gatherings are open to both Change Circle and WikiWing members, but the recordings will only be available inside Change Circle.

~~~~~~~~
Since we need connection now more than ever - to Yi and to one another - Clarity will be hosting some extra weekly fortnightly (every-other-week-ly) video chats
What it is
Weekly Fortnightly, hour-long video chats about Yi and readings.
Who it's for
Normally meetings like this are just for Change Circle members, but these are for everyone in Change Circle or WikiWing. That way we limit it to people who are genuinely interested in the Yi (probably a good idea in these days of 'Zoombombing') but cost won't be a barrier.
When
Mondays Thursdays at 6pm UK time. Click here to see what that is in your own timezone.
I don't know how long the calls will continue for, but at least until the end of April they're too good to stop yet.
Where
Zoom video chat. A month ago I'd have needed to explain what that is... probably not so much now, right? I've been using it for classes since before they were famous ;) ; it works beautifully and is nice and easy to use.
I'll be emailing the room link round to Change Circle and WikiWing members right away.
How to share a reading
I do much better with readings if I have a chance to think about them for a while and let them sink in. I don't think I'm alone in that, so let's share readings in advance of the calls. Here's how:
If you are a member of Change Circle or WikiWing, and have a reading you'd like to share...
and if and only if you are definitely coming to the next call...
then please post a link to the reading on this thread.
We don't want this thread to fill up with reading interpretations, so please just post a link to your reading thread in Shared Readings or Reading Circle.
(Change Circle people - that means you can link to a reading in 'Reading Circle' and know it won't be shared beyond CC plus those who turn up to the call.)
It sounds like these are more of an open discussion, and don't have a particular theme or topic, is that right?
I love what you named these, "Well Gatherings." Can almost picture it in my mind.
Yi started it. Question: 'What about this idea?' Answer: 48.6 to 57.
Exactly. I may show up with a 5 minute interpretation tip, but these are basically for sharing whatever readings people want to share. Back to basics.
Hello Hilary. A few more questions: how long do you think these chats will last each time? And ....
I was wondering, instead of discussing or exploring a reading, would it be appropriate to explore a particular line or hexagram, especially one I'm trying to get a grasp on?
And/or, similarly, to discuss a more philosophic question about the Yi and interpretation, like: is it possible for a line or hexagram to carry different meanings, and/or different meanings for different people or sitations? (Right now I'm pondering this question in relation to the above question about a paricular line.)
Or, perhaps these are going a bit too far afield from what you had in mind? (and no worries if that's the case.)
Best, David
About an hour each time.
And yes, we could do things other than readings, by all means. I want to prioritise readings because that's what Yi does and what we need - but if there's time (as it currently looks as though there might be!) then bring on the philosophical questions!
Please check your email for an update to today's link!
(Zoom have just started requiring passwords for all meetings, so you will need this latest link that includes the password in the url.)
I got mine 5 hours ago... David, maybe try searching your email for some part of the subject line, "New link for today's Well Gathering"?
Or did your email unhelpfully send it to your junk folder?
Hello everyone, I haven't posted in quite a while, and I didn't cast this reading here, so I hope attaching it is acceptable. It was very interesting to me and would love others' input on the meaning.
Rosejayada is a Change Circle member, so I expect she'll be there.
Clicking on the attachment opens a text file with her reading.
Sorry for the :cloud:, but the chat doesn't download. "Save link as" gives '13th April.html', not .txt. Clicking directly ends up on a "whoops" page.
Well, that's bizarre. Let me look into it... 🔎
...OK, not that bizarre, just what tends to happen when I type in the wrong url. Try it now.
A short simple question about how to organize my time. I do too much mixed together. Cleaning out a big space, which means demolishing old cupboards and things like that. Same with another big space, which is more like building up, made a photostudio there, hung lamps, things like that. Making photos for the webshop and putting them in. Working in the garden - huge changes there as well. I love it but wondered if I needed some kind of order to all of that. I asked Yi: 27/6 - 24. (NO, 27.1 - 23. I didn't bother to look at the relating hex, and later wrote it down with the wrong line. The only thing I saw in the answer was the turtle.)
The answer was immediately clear. Don't post for this one here, see if others can guess it too.
