Wha??? do I have to take a lesser job?? 32.3

I'm job hunting and need some guidance from the iching;

I asked Insight into my job hunting situation: 29
What can I do to find a job: 32.4 >46
- the no game line: is this that there are no jobs?

where should I be looking for a job? 32.3>40
- taking a lesser gift - should i be looking at a lower level?

I have just gotten my master's and approved for my state license to do the lowest level of counseling as I have to take an additional 12 credits due to difference in state education requirements for a full counseling license.

Please tell me I'm wrong about having to lower my requirements and start looking for jobs below my education level.

There is no well trod path for you to follow here. What I mean to say is this doesn't look like a plan smoothly working out as expected. You have to stay alive, awake, adaptive to changing conditions. It's not like you can sit and plan 'first I will do a and that will lead to b' because you may be dealing with a series of unknowns so you have to hold your nerve and be prepared for ups and downs.....and a certain amount of adventure one way or the other. 29 often shows emotional chasms so if there is any emotional turmoil happening it's like that part of your life supersedes the job seach

It's not there is no game at all only that there is no game in this particular field. I think what this line often means is that your current attitude/mind frame in which you asked the question is not useful to you. I don't think this line should make you despair. If there are no sheep in one field you just go to another field where there are sheep. If you aren't finding jobs through one channel don't keep trying through that same channel, look elsewhere.

32.4 changes to 46 not 11

There's nothing about a lesser gift in the line, this is more about accepting a shameful gift. This can often be about receiving something or doing something you aren't quite comfortable with because there's some sense of shame in it somewhere. Only you know where that discomfort might be. So no the answers don't say look at a lower lever they do seem to say don't be so narrowly focused in where you search. I think you will have to broaden your search a great deal into areas you may not have thought of. The 29 suggests quite a learning curve.

Okay you are wrong about having to lower your requirements. However it doesn't seem you can expect things to go as expected, you can't get comfortable with 29,,, you can't find a job if you only look for particular things in one area (32.4) and there is something here that isn't quite right about how you are trying to use your skills (32.3). I've no idea what that might be. If you feel at all ill at ease in some area of your quest look into it. This line can feel like trying to get away with something or being a bit of a flake, not committing honestly ? Only you know that one.

It looks overall like you are trying to persist in a direction but what you need to do is adapt more than persist in a chosen direction. This needn't mean going lower or losing anything in the long run, it's just it's a far more hilly road than you might think.

Thank you! that is very helpful. I'm definitely on an emotional roller-coaster with this job hunt. Some days I'm feeling good and others like there is no hope.; like today not making it to the final round of interviews.

I have a history of being underemployed - something I'm working hard on is realizing my value and holding out for a job that acknowledges that value. I'm guessing this is why I had such a reaction, and why my interpretation when in that direction. Keep looking in different fields till I find one that has game in it was very helpful!! It makes sense and is something I can do (don't stop sending out my resume just because I got an interview, keep going till I get a job offer.)
