I recently started a certain diet to cleanse and heal my gastrointestinal system, which will help healing me physically and psychologically. That's the intention. Some decision making mistakes are also involved in the whole thing. Now I am facing some side effects and some difficulties and reconsidering the diet. The answer of i ching is 29.1 to 60.

The reading and the side effects both suggest to stop.

What is the name of the diet?

Stop using the diet it's a scam

They do come up with some rubbish don't they, like as if your digestive system needs 'cleaning'.

It's like all this rubbish about liver detoxing. The liver's job is to detox our bodies we don't detox it. And there's no proof it's been 'detoxed' anyway.

That aside this diet looks to be dangerous so stop it asap

Excuse the opinionating it just really annoys me the claims people make about bonkers diets as they cause real harm and they are generally based on pseudo science masquerading as scientific proven fact.

I guarantee if you go to one of the people who propose this diet and say you have symptoms they will tell you it is because you are 'detoxing' or some such.

Yeah, detoxing when is doesn't mean removing toxins (including refined sugar) from your intake is junk.

Medicinal herbs can though promote healing the GI and healthy liver function. (things like burdoc, licorice, dandelion greens for liver, & Turmeric and Ginger for GI)

Know anyone that goes for coffee enemas? That's a thing now.
(Silly because all you have to do is drink coffee to have the same spasm inducing effect, and the solids from coffee all pass out the same way other solids do.)

I can't touch caffeine at all it gives me horrendous spasms no enema needed as you say. I am more or less caffeine free. Not because I think it's good to be caffeine free it's just my guts hate it, they cannot handle it.

Too much information …..

Thank you for your answers. :)The name of the diet is gaps which stands for guts and psychology syndrome. It all makes sense, but I am not sure if it is really necessary for me and my body.Going through the answers, I find out that the comments are more about.the diets. Maybe the answer i ching gives is clear about stopping the diet. Any further comments on that?

Yes, sorry I thought that was clear when I said "The reading suggest.... to stop"

Wilhelm: Repetition of the Abysmal. In the abyss one falls into a pit. Misfortune

Legge: There will be evil.

Is it clear now?
