I've been working in my new job, for about a month now;

It's been an intense month and I found I that I have some difficulties with the technical part of my job. They hired me because of my empathic & communicative skills because the current team is strong in the technical aspect and they needed someone with my skills to complement the team. I have no technical background whatsoever and I've been feeling stressed out 'cause my lack of technical knowlegde. They appointed an experienced colleage to train me for the technical backup but my learning process isn't going according to their expectations. The communicative part is no problem at all though. I really believe IF given the chance & time I need i could shine in this job... I don't want to loose this opprtunity.

Hex 14 1.6 > 32
If I remain conscious of possible difficulties and maintain a devoted mindset, good things (the blessing of heaven) will come to me. By persevering through change and adapting to the new situation I will be able to achieve my goal.

Any other insights on this one?

All Best Wishes -- I think this will be fine

I see this as two ends of the spectrum of what's in your favour to do well and stay on in the job [hexagram 32]. The first line of hexagram 14 is acknowledging you have things to learn, you don't precisely fit it, you're taking on board your shortcomings and being open and honest and trying to do all that you can about them -- and also realising that this wasn't the strength you were hired for primarily. In your case, the area of deficiency is in fact secondary.

The 14.6 I believe is being appreciated for all your best qualities and contributions, and that these are understood in full by the company -- they know your value. Despite whatever technical issues there may be, the highest form of your participation is something else, and everybody knows that.

The resulting hexagram 32, to me, clinches the arrangements. You can count on continuing in this position because both sides are getting something from it -- although it isn't yet ideal from either point of view. But if you persist, you are going to get there.

Good luck Lady Thunder! You sound like a great colleague.:hug:

Thanks so much for your insight and encouragement Arabella :bows:

I tend to read the changing lines in a story-like way, starting from the first changing line working my way through the transforming hex. But I'm a rookie with the Yi :)

The way you interpret the changing lines makes a lot of sense in regard to me reading and it's always interesting to look at a reading from a different angle.

Thanks a million!
