What do I need to know about his level of romantic interest in me?

Would you say that he's interested in me romantically? I'm not sure because he gives off mixed signals. This looks good to me.

I think the answer is yes, he is interested in you romantically. However, considering that the mixed signals might be not just in your imagination, I would put the question differently: do you want him to be romantically interested in you, or do you want him to be interested in spending the rest of his life with you? 'Cause these are two different things.
