In other words, is this question based in anything you KNOW is happening, or is it based in some sort of imagined story unfolding in your own mind?

Hmm...good question but I guess I can't imagine him contacting me otherwise.
The answer cld be something as simple as, he wld like me to accept an apology from him or my forgiveness, it doesn't have to be anything major.

Thankyou Jesed, a interpretation of the Hex on that simple level helps me understand.
Could be true but its been a crazy situation for number of years so I have no idea what I wish for or I don't wish for relative to this.
It's also not imperative for me to know.
I am just finding that whatever I ask is questions that come to mind intuitively. It has not only proved a way of learning about the IChing but at that same time I am blown away in the way it helps me sort many things in my life as well as my 'inner being' and I understand that the interpretations are 'suggestions' and not necessarily the 'answer'.

I also understand Hex 16 can be a destructive situation which I guess what has gone on up to this point has been very destructive as in the crazy I mentioned before so I guess I read Hex 16 as that and not as wishful.
