Hi Clarity followers,

wanted to do a Yi toss today. Noticed the document containing my Yi Journal was suddenly gone. Erased from the cloud. Nowhere to be found. 10 years of Yi inquiries. Gone from the hard drive. Gone from the cloud. Yesterday it was still there.

So I asked the Yi: What happened to my Yi journal?

Response:

11.2. > 36

embracing emptiness.

gone with the flow, I guess.

My habitual reaction to this would have been a great sense of loss. All that "work". Strangely, I suddenly feel light-hearted and relieved. Weird.

How would others experience this and see this line?

Best,

J.

Not necessarily, this is an auspicious line for things that disappear. It explicitly tells you not to worry when you lose sight of things dear to you

'Embracing emptiness, using it to cross the river He without a boat.
Not distanced from those left behind/ Not distancing and leaving behind.
Friends disappear.
Gaining honour, moving to the centre.'

Well it asks you to 'embrace emptiness' and says things disappear - but that does not mean they are forever lost! This is a line that can feel terrifying but it asks you to have faith, perhaps that is where the honour is, afterall crossing a river without a boat, not seeing the shore, not seeing where your friends went, just holding on to your own centre, embracing as you might use a hollow gourd to hold on to like a raft. Actually not sure if they did use hollow gourds for that but anyway something like that.

If you are in wiki which I think you are you must go and read the experiences there for line 2.

I don't think your journal is lost forever from the reading and the fact that it is in the cloud. you need to be brave, not lose faith, as if you are crossing a river with no one but you there.

The darkness experienced is the 36 of the line, what we suffer in 11.2 is like an injury and we must hold to our strength inside. I really don't think you need give up hope this point.

You asked what happened to the journal, well it's gone off, the line actually could describe the journey of the journal. There are examples with this line where a person has gone missing who later could explain how circumstances had swept them off their feet against their will. 11 is badly named 'peace' since 11 is Great Flow, movement and that sometimes sweeps things away. Maybe your journal got caught up in the flow of other files moving about, so it's been carried off but that doesn't mean it won't reappear at some point, washed back to shore.

Thank you, Trojina!

yes, I am in the Wiki. You‘re comments in there are like a guiding presence. It‘s helped me greatly on my personal journey.

thank you for sharing all this and taking the time to reply.

the Yi has been my last resort, my safe place during a time of thorough upheaval and change. Maybe I got overly attached …
