What happens if I leave my current job? 32.4.6 >18

Hello!

I asked “What happens if I leave my current job for freelancing/ teaching opportunities?”
And got 32.4.6 >18
I have a part-time job with an OK income- relatively low, but good for the hours/energy I put on it, as I would be paid the same or a bit more for full-time high-stress jobs I could get. I like everything about my job, other than the lengthy delays in payment. I don’t use my expertise very much in this job, either. The specialized jobs can be pretty high-income but hard to find. So I considered going for freelancing/teaching/remote work opportunities in my field.

My interpretation: 32> 18- a stable situation that leads to decay. Sounds like my occupation. And I can repair it, but how? Could the hexagram 18 points to decay after I leave?
“The fourth line, undivided, shows a field where there is no game.” I’m puzzled: my current job isn’t “the field for my game”, or there are no good opportunities out there?
“The topmost line, divided, shows its subject exciting himself to long continuance. There will be evil.” The same doubt: is it bad for me to stay here, or there will be a long, fruitless job search if I leave?

I think these hexagrams are picturing your current job - the feeling that there is nothing in the field here that inspires you and while you could continue with it, it's not exciting your creative juices anymore and this is not a good thing. So I see it as more of an confirmation of your feelings about your situation now - as if the I Ching is saying this is what happens if you DON'T leave. 18.Work on what has been spoiled, specifically advises in the Oracle or Image section to take some time before making changes. So maybe you don't just up and quit but prepare for making the change and then do it.

Oh I forgot to post an update on this as I didn't leave the job until two years later, however:

So I see it as more of an confirmation of your feelings about your situation now - as if the I Ching is saying this is what happens if you DON'T leave.
