What I Need To Know Today - Hex 40

I asked what I need to know about a particular ongoing situation today. I usually have a set list of questions I ask about any given event, but felt compelled to ask this one for one reason or another. Anyways, I received Hex 40 Unchanging.

Deliverance. The situation is indeed a tenuous one, so I am understanding this as a release from that. On the other hand, is deliverance supposed to be implied as peaceful? I would see deliverance as things coming to an apex. I suppose it can also be advice to be to deliver myself from something? Though if that was the case, the text would be confusing, because I am not sure if there are "things to be done" so to speak.

Am I correct in that? What would you expect if you drew 40 asking what you needed to know? Would you expect something internal or external?

I have always seen the result of Hexagram 40 as almost a passive activity result. Things have already happened, and now the tensions and entanglements are beginning to resolve. It's not necessarily peaceful (as the image of thunder above water is not necessarily peaceful), but the hardships are behind you even if they do still influence you in real and immanent ways. Now is not the time to "get things done" though, limit your activities to undoing any damage that was done and do your best to return to normal.

While I'd really like to feel that were true, my situation has seen no resolution or closure. It constantly travels through stagnancy and activity. I would hope this hex signifies that a resolution, whatever it may entail, is on the horizon.
