I have this floater in my right eye. I find it both annoying and alarming. However, I've been to the eye doctor twice within the last month, had a full exam each time, and have been told that it's nothing to worry about. Still, it's very upsetting.

"What is the best way for me to cope with this?"

58.1

I guess it's telling me straight up not to worry about it, everything's fine etc. That's the best way to cope with it.

Anyone see anything else here?

Just one?

Although it can be irritating for sure, I've had eye floaters for years and years. They tend to become more prominent with stress but other than that, they're nothing to worry about as 58.1>47 implies. The background hex of 47 suggests you are exhausting yourself with worry and "alarm." No need. You'll get used to it and although you'll occasionally see it/them fly across your vision and want to swat it like an annoying fly, it'll fade from your awareness. Give it less attention and I guarantee it'll lessen.

Hi

From a text-based perspective, yeah, pretty much as you read it: don't worry.

From a Wen Wang Gua perspective, hex 58 is a total conflict one and hex 47 is a total combination one [yes, this may sound counterintuitive when you rely on the text attached to the hexagrams]. A total clash changing to a total combination is a good sign: nothing to worry about; things are moving for the better.

Best wishes

58 can have to do with exchanging information, talking, and sociability among noble friends.

58.1 : I see in this line, too, : be willing to ask questions, in the manner of friendly exchanges, with your doctors and others, to lessen your anxiety (47).

Not directly your question, but the Yi giving you a tip (i see it that way).
