Hello everyone.
I apologize for any possible error of grammar, my english is not the best as it is not my native language.

Unfortunately I have no luck in relationships, I always end up falling in love and I'm not matched then or when someone falls in love with me, I'm not interested. I am 27 and not resign myself up to the present moment, not having a serious relationship :hissy: and the few that I had were very problematic and quick.
Asked the i ching: How will my love life in the near future? And the result was: Hex 29.5 I would like to help me interpret.

Thank you for the attention;
;)

A full glass of water leaves little room for someone else to fill it. Let half of that water seep back into the earth (7) and keep it in reserve. Putting it another way, don't show all your cards (or emotions) at once, keep some close to your vest or heart.

That doesn't predict how your love life will be, but it does show a way to improve it.

I want to throw in something intuitive - not a thorough interpretation: H7 Shi (The Army, Multitude) provides you with the context, the background for H29 (Chasm, The Pit). How to get out of the hole or come to your senses again... the Zagua seems to be helpful: "The Army means mourning." A very strong statement in your situation and what has happened over time, accumulated, the same pattern repeating itself. "Mourning" in the sense of a chasm/pit (element water) that has been filled from above (earth), with a heavy unformed mass:weep:. So before you can be happy, "mourning" could prove to be supportive and may lead to H8 (Zagua: "happiness":)) after working through (/up) the hexagram (H7), the Yang line shifts to the fifth (strong) place above the earth (H8) - also the inverted or partner hexagram. This is what is missing so far: no longer being covered with earth in a dark pit, but above it, finding trust and being determined in your choice.
By the way, "mourning" goes along with Hilary's commentary to H29.5: you don't have to feel pushed/become active, "progress will happen of itself, in due course". It is a time of rest and contemplation, not of making big decisions. Line 5 also signifies a certain degree of safety (strong position).

I hope it's not impolite to quote another user, but I have this text in the little notebook where I write down inspiring thoughts for each line and hexagram, and it is a quote from bradford I suppose somewhere here in the forum, it helped me relate to 29,5:

“We move best when we are moved to do something.
We accomplish more when we really want something.
To act on less is to do things halfheartedly.
Sometimes it's best just to enjoy where we are.
And if we want more inspiration we have to invite it
and then wait for it with some patience.
Then we will be moved when the time is right.”

(by bradford)

Hope it also inspires you*

Hi Lady_lee… from what you've written in your post - my intuition tells me that the hexagram is saying your impatience for WANTING a relationship is leading you to making more bad choices that will eventually lead to more frustration.

Line 5 is the build of disappointment and frustration coming to its climax.

Also, the presence of water in this hexagram relates to emotion. If you stop desperately grasping for a relationship - you will get out of the emotional pit and see things more clearly and make better choices in partners.
