what kind of Holliday I need? 51.1.2 to 40

Hi great people, I need some help.
I’m leaving a strange period of life, a lot of issues that could disturb me but nevertheless my mood is in apparent balance.
I changed work, becoming coordinator at the beginning of lockdown! And In the last two months Happen this: I had a muscle injury that didn't allow me to walk for almost a month. now it’s better, I walk but I have a problem of nervous suffering in the leg.
My partner, we are in on-offrelationship type, leave me for a period. Now he’s trying to reconnect with me ( with weak attempts to approach). So, many issues. And now also hollidays are upcoming.
about these I feel a controversial feeling: I know I need to stop and change air, I’m afraid (and I’m surprised at it) to move alone for Holliday with myself, I hope To stay in relationShip with E., I hope to close the relationship With E.,...so, confusion.
And also my leg don’t give me the freedom to “dream big”, I have also to consider it.

So: what kind of Holliday I need?

Yi answer me with hexagram 51.1.2 to 40
I think Yi is answering multiple questions; I think it’s telling me that I need to enjoy myself, that I don’t need to wait E. To move by myself and that if I do so I will feel myself liberated.

it would have been easier if it has answered 52 unchanging....go to the mountain!!!

Something that frees you from the feeling of waiting for E as you said. It's a nice fresh liberating cast 'Thunder's Release' . Follow invitations (19 yang pattern) to places less populated (line 2 and 33 yang pattern) just do it, go ahead, no need to wait for him or anyone else. Have you had any kind of invitations to visit friends or relatives ?


Line 2 says though you are sad you will find if you withdraw to the hills you will see that eventually whatever you felt you lost is returned to you in a different way.

The patterns I mean are the patterns the change lines make, change patterns. The yang pattern is found where you make all the change lines yang and the rest yin. The yin pattern is where you make all change line yin and the rest yang. So you can see the 'skeleton' of other hexagrams when you look at your answer.

You had 51.1.2 so that looks like a 19 change pattern and 33 would be the yin pattern. You don't have to consider these at all but they always stand out to me and can tell you how you are coming into the situation (yang pattern) and how you come through it (yin pattern)

Another example suppose I received 12.1.4>15 the pattern those change lines make are yang 51 and yin 57.


I see it as the change patterns are the means of connection as if 51 cannot 'talk to' 40 other than through those background hexagrams of 19 and 33.

You don't need to use these in readings but they are worth noting IMO because the pattern or outline of these other hexagrams are there. It's interesting also when you have many moving lines to notice the change patterns.

Also I wouldn't always feel 19 as 'follow invitations' but for you it came to mind. In the process of answering other people about their readings one can get a particular sense of what an aspect means for them in particular.
