My take on this is you were firming up new insights into your situation but then began considering an alternative option which if followed is in danger of knocking your feet from underneath you.

In the land of 44 you are encountering not only good ideas but also those of an inferior nature. The 'better' themes are not permanent in a long term sense. However, they will be benificial if followed and sure as eggs are eggs they will be countered by less fortuitous themes jumping in to knock plans off track if nothing is done about stopping them. This 'lesser' element will become powerful in time and so you are advocated 'not to marry yourself to her (them)'. The superior person is encouraged to spread the word into their world of what is felt to be right, just like the wind blowing under heaven,

At 44.6 you are in danger of locking horns with an inferior situation. In one way this is understandable, as staying with the old, based on a fear-driven constrictive approach may be an attraction: 'better the devil you know' kind of thinking. In spite of this, though, it will serve you best to follow your own counsel and walk your path.

After all behind all things in Hex 44 is Hex 1 creating away like nobody's business and beyond 44.6 lies the land of 'Bringing things Together'

Oh right thank you - that makes perfect sense. Finding the better alternative a little 'scarey' at the same time knowing it's probably going to be such a wonderful thing for me to do at this time.
