Greetings. Thanks to my gf I now have my own set of casting coins plus a book with the i ching simplified, which has been really helpful. But now I'm starting to get readings I can't really understand.

Lately we've had many problems and it's mainly because of her. So I decided to ask "What should I do with my relationship?" and got 5.1.2.3.4 > 39, and honestly I'm not understanding, how can the joyous go to the obstruction? Plus I got 28.2.4 > 39 in another reading when asking a similar question days ago, when the situation was slightly different.

Hi I must admit I am a bit funny when people seem to definitely blame their partner for the problems, we are always 100% accountable on both sides.

My interpretation of your reading 58>39 is although there seems to be a bit of trouble it is a good idea to persist and the relationship will progress. - Liss

Thank you. I usually blame myself for most things, but right now it's about her as an individual and her own self-doubting about life in general that is harming our relationship. I've been next to her all this time but I don't know for how much longer should I persist. But this reading is encouraging me to persist right? Why did I get the obstruction? I'm not that clear on that regard.

EDIT: Will cast the coins and come back with the answer. I might need help though.

EDIT 2: I'm actually shocked: 39.2 > 48. It's basically what you said, except now we're out of the obstruction zone!

Sounds to me your gf isn't purposely being difficult - perhaps you could ask the Yi the best way you could support her or what is the basis of her angst. - Liss

52.4 > 56. I don't get the resultant hexagram but it seems that I'm already doing the right thing.

12.2.3.6 > 28. There's something about this we've talked about but I'm not understanding the reading. She told me she'd rather be alone because she wants her freedom, but when I give her the option to leave she wants to stay with me.
