What Taichi class to choose?

Hello dear friends,

I love taichi and have been practising it for a long time. I thought of rejoining a class to improve my skills.
There are 3 feasible options (classes) for me. I have checked the teachers and since none are from far east (that would be my immediate choice) , I decided to consult the I-ching.
What if I join group A?
HEX 52.2 -> 18

what if I join group B?
HEX 2.3 -> 15

and finally, what if I join group C?
HEX 35uc

To me it gets better alphabetically :D ;)
But joking aside, 52.2 looks like a tough situation which brings advancement in going on with it.
2.3 looks more like a (more gentle) platform which would bring out my special best at this sport,
and 35? mhmmm absolutely no idea.

Please share your dimes :hugs:

Group B's reading for me symbolises the essence of what I think tai chi to be - receptive/modest/integrity/earthy/gentle...group B might be the one with most integrity to the practise...self-effacing.

Group C- although indicates progress/gift/etc...would it be consistent with learning the practice? It seems it would be a stepping stone to something else...may be the hidden reason for why one practice's something, as opposed to the sake of the practice itself.

Hi Pyramid,

I agree with your interpretations, definitely better alphabetically!
Here's my take:

What if I join group A? 52.2 > 18
It won't go well and there will be nothing you can do about it.

what if I join group B? 2.3 > 15
Good for building up strength and stamina.

and finally, what if I join group C? 35 unchanging
Good for burning calories? Good for meeting a guy?

Hello dear diamanda,

Thanks for your reply :)
Ah ok, then I should choose between B and C, I might try a trial session with each and go with one ;)

Hello mira,

I really liked your interpretation, thank you :)
Interesting that I also had the same feeling, though I would think it in different words (if I could put those feelings to words btw).
I already wrote above: it might be B or C... we'll see :)
