Thanks @Lakewater, I haven't got a clue.. but it's interesting you think I could still get a promotion if I stayed. I wonder what others think!I have read this a few times and am still stomped, I wonder if both readings point to you getting the promotion anyway
@maisie intrigued by this idea of "going to war" to get a new job, because that was a concept a friend and I discussed in relation to staying at my current workplace actually, in the sense that if I wanted to fight for a promotion, I'd have to go to war over the injustice I feel is happening. Though I see how the army can also logically infer that- i don't like that leaving looks difficult, but so does staying if things crumble and fall apart. So far I haven't been successful with my applications to new jobs. Feeling really cornered with either option at the moment!Staying at your work place seems to be a good option.23,5 The string of fishes help from people at the palace , help from the new boss?
23 everything crumbling down restructuring?
Other option foesn't look bad either although you need to be disciplined or goto war hexagram 7 to get a new job.
Line 2 looks not too bad either.
I'll definitely keep you posted. So far not much of a change. It's been tough finding the time/motivation to job seek in my free time especially because my work week is so tough, I need my evenings and weekends to decompress so that I don't go crazy. Maybe this is where discipline is needed, but I don't know, I'm on the edge of burnout as it is.Okay intwresting you had been talking like this when discussing leavingvto find work.I always get the feeling Hexagram 7 is telking me to be more disciplined , like a new solider type recruit would need to be.No personal idea about this but my father used to tell me about being in the army sort of early morning keeping your kit ready shinny shoes type of thing.
Yes and being ready to fight.
I think this is what it means for me usually. However 23, 5 means for me by experience I get help from networks, previous contacts or outside forces, usually turns out well.
I hope you get what you want would love an update.
I am also interesting in work type questions so keep us posted what you do and how it turns out.
The three commands just made me think of something official-esque that may have been repeated to you at your current workplace, which is currently that you'll be promoted to an in charge position (23.5 also seems to suggest some type of assistance where you are).Lise: To live in the center of the legion. Auspicious. Without fault. The king confers three commands.
Things are still very unclear at my current workplace- if anything, a bit muddier than what it was when I first posted this reading. It feels like whenever I take one step forward, I get pushed two steps back. That doesn't mean I've given up though, but I am certainly questioning how long it's going to be this way. In any case, non of my external efforts have led to anything and I am just tired on both fronts now.The three commands just made me think of something official-esque that may have been repeated to you at your current workplace, which is currently that you'll be promoted to an in charge position (23.5 also seems to suggest some type of assistance where you are).
I could be wrong of course
Agreed. All i can do now is rest as much as I can and use the time to recuperate, but also do things I enjoy to counterbalance the crapiness. In any case it's always best to be wise and act in your own best interest, what actions (or non-actions) can you take to better secure your future to one you will be happy with, what's the solution to your workload, what are some antidotes to your burnout, if you can't begin a whole job search campaign, what small thing can you do e.t.c e.t.c you don't have to do a lot, sometimes just reflecting as you rest is enough for a shift
