I have been away from the I ching for ages and have missed it, so I decided to practice my divination by asking a fairly simple question to get me started again.
This weekend my partner is away and I plan to have my mother stay over on Saturday night, if she is up for it. My father has dementia and my sister will look after him while my mother can get some rest with me. However, she is reluctant to leave him as she does like to be in control, and in the process exhaust herself. Hence, asking what to be aware of if she does stay with me.
I thought the answer was really great actually - decrease, take it easy with her, cook some nice food, maybe do the lotto (line 5)
I also thought the resulting hexagram was very interesting. I have a small raised bed for vegetable growing that needs some work before I decide what to plant this year. Sounds like now is the time to get things in order for the coming season.
That's my weekend planned!
