I am at the doorstep of my finals for my first semester. The next two weeks will be stressful, and even though I prepared myself as well as possible I still feel a lot of anxiety. I started this graduate course in September and this is the first time I really had to study for something.

I asked the Yi what to expect for the coming three weeks?
hex 9.2.4.6 to 49

Revolutionary change through small taming
Line 2: Drawn back, returning. Good fortune. Genuine guidance leading you back to your right path
Line 4: There is truth and confidence. Blood departs, fear goes away. no mistake. Confidence leaves no room for anxiety.
Line 6: The dense clouds have rained. You have received what you need for now, honour the power it carries.

Seems to be a positive reading. Any thoughts?:bows:

Yes excellent reading. There's no need to over do things once you have done enough (9.6) The reading seems descriptive of your anxiety and also holds reassurance that your anxiety won't spoil anything (9.4)

Perhaps this is something you were 'meant to do' for a long time (9.2)...as if this has been a long time coming. That's how 9>49 looks to me read as a sentence. A natural development/metamorphosis/change (49) that you've waited for and tended(9) is being realised.

Re 9.4 I always had that in situations where I doubted if I could 'perform' and each time things turned out fine. Sometimes anxiety is no bad thing if it keeps one alert.

If you are revising and so on do heed the warning of line 6. In line 6 it says 'the woman can rest'...and that is precisely what it means. When you have done all you can do to prepare don't be tempted to try to do even more or doubt you have done enough. One does all one can to ensure success but after a certain point one cannot gain more certainty by doing even more. You will likely know when you have done as much as you can. Take care to get enough rest and not to press beyond your limits.

Lovely reading and it makes me want to say 'Well Done' because I feel the sense of 'Well Done' is somewhere there in the answer. You have worked hard to prepare for some great change in a way of life and it is now actualizing. You almost can't believe you will succeed (9.4) but I think you will.

Yes I have been working hard, and with this new goal in life other changes are manifesting, changes in lifestyle and learning how to be more assertive about what I need from myself and others in my life.

I can relate to the farmer in hex 9, responding to the little needs of everyday, realizing that I am 'not quite' there yet. I have been going through an inner crisis causing my current anxiety. In the past when I underwent such a crisis I usually had a strong 'fight or flight' reaction. But it's different this time round. Rather I am accepting this crisis as a necessary part of my inner change. I feel like I have to fight my most basic instincts to either run away or defend myself. In stead of doing any of the above I just try to get up every day, discipline myself and tend to my 'crops'.

Will update this thread when this period has reached it's conclusion.

Thank you Trojina, for your wise words!:bows:

Hey there @dancingfox;, I think you're still active in this community but not sure if you will see this. Do you remember how this situation played out? I know this is old, but I am curious!

Hi Heatwave

Yes, I still hang around here every now and then.

My situation played out wonderfully. I passed all of my exams and finished my degree in January 2017 :D

Deciding to go for my degree was a trigger towards some major positive changes in my personality and therefore, my life. So Trojan was spot on with her reading. Learning how to deal with my anxiety was like a red thread through all of those important changes.

A beautiful reading, and how nice of you to remind me of that :)
