What will happen to us moving forward and can I count on him to help 16.4

Hi again, I pulled hex 16.4 to 2 when asking about a friendship/work situation. It’s hard to trust people in my line of work. I asked the i-Ching what will happen to my friend/coworker and I moving forward on more projects. He isn’t a close friend but I do like working with him, I also asked the IC if I can count on him to help me and received the same hexagram, 16.4 to 2. Any interpretations appreciated!

Line 4: it speaks about partnership will unite which sounds very positive. There will be lots of great opportunities for inspiration and ideas. Be open and willing to continue this partnership and don’t suspect or have negative thoughts about the friendship/partnership. It looks like if you’re receptive to continuing this friendship and have trust in building and creating then many flowers will bloom together in harmony.

Line 4 has somewhat of a masculine connotations so perhaps it’s also trying to say that you can be confident in your thoughts but sometimes you might have to be a little sensitive towards your actions to inspire the growth. Don’t demand, instead ask gracefully and be grateful for the partnership and everything will be in your favor.

Hi Moss Elk,Yes that is a positive line, and I believe based on our brief but positive experiences working together, you are right, it is a favorable reading. My strength in working in this field is my reputation for being honest, and I always try to work with those who share the same beliefs...I just tend to get wary since I don’t know the guy well enough, even though we get along.

Chaptershare, thank you for sharing your thoughts on this! Yes I agree, I think trust is a big issue for me but since 16.4 is talking of friends helping, I suppose I have nothing to fear. And yeah, the unbroken masculine line makes sense...with him being kind and caring went a lot further than someone who makes demands, which didn’t bode well for a couple of people who have worked with him in the past.
